Nice... made in Japan somemore. Is those installed on City CKD here also made in Japan?

And what is the conversion harness is for?

The battery tester can test the state of health of the battery. For your 12-month servicing, may I suggest you do it before the anniversary of your car so that it's still possible to claim a new battery if needed (12-month warranty for battery).
*
Bro Mushigen your advice is super good! notworthy.gif

I followed your advice, had my 12th-mth service 10 days earlier than anniversary date, and SC found my car battery weak ady and proceed to replace one under warranty! Hahaha!

Damn lucky to have your advice! thumbsup.gif

Thank you very much man!!

Ha you're mist welcome. Congrats on your new battery. Another year of worry-free driving. Now you know your battery only lasts 1 year. But perhaps your new Panasonic battery performs better.

Just read a bunch of reviews, apparently lack of foam in the plastic parts... But other than that, I'm good with the performance. Only thing is CVT feels a bit lain than AT, how to describe, it's like not all the way when u tekan minyak
*
From standstill, the rubber band effect is there. However, cvt excels when it comes to hill climb (compared to conventional auto) with no shift shock too.

SC replaced with FB still sweat.gif

say only those self-paid customer can choose battery brand. Warranty claim will be given FB ... sweat.gif sweat.gif

This round i choose to skip their free car wash, ask for vacumn only. Also noticed no change in my aircond and audio setting, also engine is off when drop it for vacumn cleaning. Good they didnt abuse my car.

Also did tyre rotation, but not sure why they swap in total X-cross direction. i marked my tyre before hand, hence noticed:
RL tyre been installed to FR (i expect RL to FL),
RR to FL (i expect RR to FR),
FL to RR,
FR to RL,

Their rotation direction is different from what stated in manual. When i asked service attendance, he says technician will rotate based on "tyre's condition", not necessary according to manual confused.gif

Thought doing that in SC for convenience, perhaps next time i should do rotation outside shop eh.

I know of someone who got a Panasonic battery as warranty replacement.

In my case, they just rotated FR to RR (and vice versa), and FL to RL (and vice versa). They said the same thing about checking thread wear pattern b4 rotating. I think it's bollock, because we rotate tyres to avoid uneven wear. And the SC ain't got no time to analyse our tyre wear and customise the rotation.

Nowadays i have them rotated at tyre shop with my preferred pattern (as described in the manual).

Guys. do you feel abit jerking when going 10km/h to 30km/h-40? it's like the car auto decelerate for 1 second. Plugged OBD does not diagnose with gearbox issue. I suspect is air flow/dirty air filter/throttle body dirty. Any of your face this issue?
*
Mine only jerk at low speed especially when it is between deceleration and acceleration, stop and go.
Suspect battery, air fuel ratio, ignition timing, cvt issue or may be fuel type. Currently using petronas and shell, seems doesnt has this issue when using petron fuel.
Last time my other car has jerking issue accelerate from standstill, it is due to i over retarded the ignition timing.

How to do poll?

How many of you taking HIP insurance vs outside local insurance?

My due is tomorrow. I have 4 quotations and rather similar prices. Not much differences. Plus minus not more than 40 bucks.

All got special perils, betterment, windshield

But two got 7.5% rebate if no claim on top of my NCD.

Aiyoo why need poll la. Everyone has their own reasoning to either take HIP or not. If you listen to 100 people telling you 100 different reasons to yay or nay, how you going to make ur own decision my friend?

Do ur own cost-benefit analysis and if HIP makes sense, go for it.

nope...it's OEM camera not original Honda..my friend managed to install it on the original place next to the boot button..
so it looks like original...total spend rm 180 (camera+labour) and rm 22 (socket for original HU)...
