Bring it back to SC. Say highway cruising car is oscillating side to side.
Steering alignment out maybe?
Checked your tyre pressures?
I've seen people whose car tends to pull in one direction and then they have to correct every so often.

Yeah. That what i feel. I don't know how to express it. Will do it.

thanks for the tips! but just wanted to ask, is that price common for city now? it's really much cheaper than what was originally priced. i wonder whether it's a sign that the honda city 2020 is due to land soon (although i'm personally skeptical that it will happen this year hence why i'm thinking of getting the 2017 FL version)
*
New gen City high possibility to come in 2020 as GM6 is going to 6 yo then. New Jazz camo car is running now so can expect City to come soon but not this year imho. If you can wait then wait until year end promo. If you need a car now then buy now, no point to regret later becoz you need the car now rite?

Prev car is persona and I never felt like driving my current car now. Persona seem more planted on the road. Maybe tires kot.

ELITE to Seremban is recently. Weather is fine.
Car is waving a bit left n right only in 100 or more and no steering vibration. Feel like driving on water on tarmac.
2 adult 1 baby with half back bonnet is full stuff.
about 2 month now the car.

Below 90 is solid drive. no vibration.

Haha, I oso had Persona 1st gen. Speeding on highway is like nite and day with City. Sure City is not as planted due to the reasons I gave. Just drive at reasonable speeds and you will be ok.

Previously my family owned civic fd 1.8 always got screeching sound from the brake, even after brake serviced and checked at Honda SC. Now my own Honda city also got almost everytime. Also checked and service at SC still the same issue. Then I just ignore it and assume its one of the features from Honda laugh.gif
*
yea, that's what many Honda owners said as well.

That's why i wondered if change brake pad will solve the problem or not, seems like it is impossible to solve.

Shop around la.
You can even find Honda SA in lowyat, that's how I found my SA.
Usually the dealers in more ulu places are more willing to move on price unlike those in major towns like KL or PJ. So look further afield.

good tip. thanks!

i'm torn to be honest. I currently drive a 6 year old almera and usually i'm the kind that uses cars for quite awhile (my myvi before that i drove for 11 years). but the almera has been giving me more and more problems, so was hoping to change the car. at the same time, am kinda hoping to see what the new city has to offer (android auto perhaps drool.gif), so yeah, that's my conundrum.

ok, maybe not from the brake pad, but i thought honda, when braking always got the screeching sound? I thought it is very common among Honda cars?

Ok guys, thank you so much notworthy.gif

For my case is different. I changed both new trw dtec brake pads (front) and a new Honda brake disc. Got screeching sound even after drove for a few days. My new brake disc got heavily scratched.

Bought new Honda brake pads and skim my brake disc. No more screeching sound. I will stick to Honda brake pads.

During pressing the accelerator pedal je,

before u shift from d to s, just stop pressing the pedal and shift je

The sales man tell me hold the accelerator and shift then you feel speed boost which I normally do.. My friend tell me release pedal n shift.. Both I tried.. Of cz hold pedal n shift is better.. But I not sure any harm..

weird, when i sent to the shop to do rotation, they got do the tyre balancing, i saw them put the wheel onto the machine to spin it.

And any shop to recommend as well for the brake pad?

Heavy wind izzit haha.. I drive over 160 still ok.. But one thing, I move from gen 2 to city... Lotus driving is really good.. I think u comparing old driving to New car.. U will notice diff.. U need time to get use to it.. Till now I still prefer Gen2 driving in control n cornering .. I only change rim n wide tyre in order to get better grip... So far feel better than stock

My old brake rotor warp coz i can feel it judder when i brake at high speed. I think is most likely due to multiple skimming. My brake rotor has skimmed three times at SC.

Hello guys, in the city's manual state that can use 0w-20,0w-30,5w-30 and 10w-30. Currently using 0w-20. Can I switch to mineral 10w-30 and change every 5000km/6months? Reason being it is a weekend car with very low mileage. Thanks!

I dont after reading the article below.
https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/do-ioni...ally-clean-air/

I rather use a better cabin filter compared to those small car air purifier/car air ioniser. This is because once i open the door, all the haze and smell will get back in the car. Not to mention most of these small device cannot change the filter or is too costly.

On brake screeching issue, I keep complaining every time I go sc and they skimmed brake pad and ask me monitor.
Until the n times they finally change new brake pad for me, foc under warranty, problem solved.

SC is Setapak Sri Utama.
