Better than McIntosh ones? PM price pls.

Hmm, got so many variants (McIntosh, Panasonic China, Alpine). Maybe I should wait for sifu to discover Bose or B&O tweeter variant before jumping in. Hahaha!

this is high grade tweeter from alpine, sure better than mcintosh but of course price will be much expensive sweat.gif

I also done alignment at outside workshop last week and now have the same problem steering to the right slowly when driving long straight road on highway or city road. rclxub.gif

QUOTE(yeowwwai @ Feb 18 2019, 09:41 PM)
I noticed when the steering wheel is centered, the car sort of veer to the left slowly, so I have to turn the steering wheel a little bit to the right to keep it straight.
So I went to a Honda SC, to get the alignment done, along with the 1,000 km service done, but the car still requires a bit of right turn to keep it going straight..
Is alignment what I need to correct the issue..? I did not get an alignment report or whatever from the SC..

Anyone else get sms from their SC about their schedules service is due at 5 months after their last service? Or is it just a Belux Honda Kepong issue?

Bring back to that workshop and tell them to rectify. My WS usually say bring it back if it ain't right. I'm sure yours does the same also.

Because the earth is not 100% flat, it's curve... . rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif

From what I understand, the road surface is not flat and built in certain angle, lower on the left. This to make sure the rain water will flow to the left side not to the middle which may cause the flooding. So when the road is lower on the left, the car won't be straight.

I ship to SG since i work in SG. Total cost including shipping is S$77 = Rm235
Boxer07 is right. Even though US dont have Honda city but they do manufacture for other countries as well depending on the demand. U can check in their official website to see which filter model is compatible with our car.

https://www.knfilters.com/mobile/mAppResult...ity&engine=1.5L

Our is 33-3030 for fuel engine. 33-3038 is for diesel engine therefore the filter design is slightly different.
*
RM235 is cheap . i got it for 270 2yrs ago from lazada when they still offer Rm20 discount for lazada new customer .

btw , i poured in some Liqui Moly Oil additive into engine oil . does it really do the job and fuel saving ?

Yeah, sifu is very poisonous. Haha, you only got a pair last time right? Time to get another pair now, high grade one.

I just bought Techron Concentrated Plus on Sunday. I thought this will help clean the engine and not much fuel saving?

My last 2 service was 5 month, they count the date from you purchase the car not from last service.

Just now went down a parking slop lane and the floor hit my front bumper at the bottom surface... got one 15cm long scratch line... sad.gif

Luckily the front bumper still intact and not dropped down.

But do you all notice there is some gap at front and rear bumpers which you can see the plastic clippers inside the gap when u parked your FL City under direct sunlight or outdoor ?

Yeah, that is why i bought it first and will use it after my car warranty is over.

I didn't do research on Liqui Moly oil into engine oil before so couldn't comment. However u can research on Seafoam into engine oil. Seafoam can also apply to fuel tank and throttle body. Heard alot of positive reviews about Seafoam in YouTube and forums.

That's not right also, since I got the car in Nov 2017 the 18th month service should be in May 19 rather than Feb. Plus their own service reminder sticker says my next service should be in March, 6 months since my last service in Sept 18.

Woah! So it's not just me, did you get an alignment or something else done to try to fix the problem? It is really annoying to have to steer a little bit to the right to keep it straight..
*
QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Feb 19 2019, 01:08 AM)
Mine too doesn't steer straight, on slow-mid speeds can feel car moving slightly left so constantly need to make adjustments. I read that some makers purposely do so for RHD cars, to keep driver concentration and alert even when driving on straight roads (those going KL-JB NS highway will know what I mean). Also another reason that some said is normally tiring drivers will keep to left lane so if the person falls asleep, the car will veer left and into guardrail or shallow ditch and not to right where it can be more dangerous. Yes, it is annoying though.
*
My ride has no such issue from Day 1. Recently had my alignment and tyre balancing done at SC, still drives straight.

QUOTE(danthe0 @ Feb 19 2019, 07:16 AM)
So you're fine with continuously micro-correcting to keep the car straight ?
I mean, one of the feature Mazda introduced G Vectoring, was to solve the case where drivers need to perform minor steering corrections so that the car moves straight smoothly.
If you need to constantly straighten your car, that is a flaw, not a feature.
*
+1.
None of my rides show this flaw because I'd get it corrected if they had.

City driving 90 - 110 kmph? You fast and furious at every traffic light ke?  I think I know where ur bad FC comes from. Lolz!

But seriously, dont expect it to be accurate if ur mileage is still <10k km. Best is to do own monitoring, from full tank to full tank, how many mileage done.
*
QUOTE(Zaryl @ Feb 18 2019, 01:19 PM)
don't bother using the onboard FC meter. it's just to show you on the AVERAGE FC only.

try using "Fuelly" app. Much more accurate.

QUOTE(lil_flank @ Feb 18 2019, 01:50 PM)
Wahh.. your city drive quite fast if its 90 - 110km/hr, lol.. You should be able to reach >500km for 1 tank if u drive on the highway with speed of 90 - 110km/hr.
*
QUOTE(HMMaster @ Feb 18 2019, 03:18 PM)
90-110kmh is no city drive... sweat.gif

Normally if I travel long journey on highway, constant 90-110kmh, I can get 500km++ per tank.

If normal city drive, I can get about 400km per tank. (34ltr~)

QUOTE(PhakFuhZai @ Feb 18 2019, 05:51 PM)
round trip KL-Melaka - achieved 14.5 KM/L
CNY week in KL - achieved 15.5 KM/L

anything other than that - 10.x - 11.5 KM/L

the trip meter reset at every refuel
*
Harlo Sifus... looking at your replies, made me question myself, how low is city drive?

Parlimen - putrajaya (work)

Balakong - Putrajaya (house to offfice)

Leisure driving (normal at any time)

I thought 90-110 is the minimum? Lesser than that, would be contributing to the traffic congestion.

inb4 will try the fuelly app.

On average city drive should be lower. From my dashboard meter that auto-reset during fuel up, the average is around 30km/h only.
What is your dashboard reading?

I did alignment at Honda SC. Before and after also I still feel the same. I don't think I could have done anything more.
