I wish I can claim Grab expense from Honda for my upcoming whole day warranty replacement but I don't think so. What happen to ur car?

When I sent to change my car battery the cover did ask me if I'm in a hurry to go anywhere to which I said I wasn't so the topic ended.

However the second time when I asked regarding the process to change my start button, she did say that Honda will provide spare cars for those cases who need to spend a few days in the workshop. Not sure if it's based on the center or its a nationwide policy.

yes, u can. U can claim similar car rental. i.e. your City is 1.5l, so, u can only claim 1.5l car or below, don't think of try to claim Civic Type R.  . And, the claim duration is only for the repair duration. So, the duration of your car sit at workshop, waiting for adjuster come to assess, the unavailability of spare parts, waiting to arrived, all these cannot be claim.

Yeah, both parties must report to polis. Then use a copy of that report and bring the car to SC for claim insurance repair.

Not sure what is "salinan", cannot remember. Plus, don't think it will cost RM200. If you are party at fault, you will be saman RM300. If you are not, then, you can claim all cost charged by the police, so long you got the receipt.

The keputusan, I think it will take estimate officially 14 days, but, knowing Malaysia way of doing things, not sure Malaysia Baru, with some little bit of grease, can be faster.

You can send your car to Honda, but, they won't fix for u. Your car will be idle there. They will wait for adjuster to come to assess the damage, discuss with the SC technician on the work need to be done. Then, adjuster go back write report, then, forward to Honda SC. Assume Honda SC agree with it, the cost, then, then they will only start order parts. Then, only start repair. And, your claim of lost of use vehicle only cover repair time, not idle at SC waiting for the above. And, since you claiming insurance (doesn't matters which insurance u claim, self or counter party), they will also need to wait for the keputusan before start repair, if not mistaken, even adjuster will not come until they got the keputusan.

All in, estimated you will lost about 1 month time without use of your car, and most likely u can claim 1 week, max 1.5 weels of lost of use of your vehicle.

HIP is Honda's inhouse insurance plan but carried by multiple insurance carriers. As compared to standalone plans, its more expensive but there's added benefits that may come in handy. To renew HIP, you need to do it at Honda branches. To renew insurance via standalone, can use online.
