Did u guys change your fuel strainer + fuel retainer at 80k service? It’s inside the service maintenance schedule in honda website.

My car is 4 years (80k service mileage), but my actual mileage is only 32k.

Feels like no need since very low mileage? I read this thing it to prevent high fuel consumption, which i think my car FC is still good

So use a cleaner fuel like BHP and Caltex will save changing the fuel filter or not?

I changed mine around 100k km. Dunno 6 years or so. Changed outside. The part is like 200 ++. Labour another 60-80

The theory is, the dirtier or clogged your fuel filter, the harder your fuel pump need to work and your fuel pump has higher tendency to break.

I didnt manage to see the condition of the replaced fuel filter

Apparently, 1 can isn't enough to clean the A/C  if you were to follow the youtube guides. I am guessing our fan blower is quite big so to fill in the entire filter cavity takes quite an amount. To clean out all the venting outlets (fan blower, side blowers, central blowers, windscreen vents) will need 2 cans at least.

i would advise u to get a better brand aircon cleaner , from Mr. DIY . there is anothe brand , waxco . or if ur place got ace hardware, get it from there . Abro Aircon cleaner , RM38-40/ can .

i always use Abro/ Waxco to clean my aircon blower.

Unstable during idle? I thought suppose to fix rough idle? Thats why u do it in the first place?

I jusy notice it has highet rpm during startup. After engine warm, the lights off, its smooth.

How much for throttle body cleaning? And did you do it at Honda SC?

When I diy cleaned TB of previous cars, the rpm was always unstable after the first engine start. It returned to normal after a short drive.

in the beginning they ask me to do machine relearning. i was a bit skeptical. as many DIY dont even do that and didnt report such issue.

in fact. let me rephrase my previous statement.
after my cleaning. when car just started in morning. idle is fine. but if i dont wait till the engine warm light off, if i put to D, the RPM is quite high. until it warm up.
so if i idle all the way, then only start driving. RPM not high.

but i just realize now it doesnt do it anymore. all good.

Any suitable stocks for 2014 V spec? Also do you stock those reverse sensor eye? (the 4 eye version).
This reminds of me my 2006 Myvi first gen, the ECU was faulty. Eventually had to replace the ECU, 2k+

The idle rev when aircond kicks goes up to 1.8k rpm  when I balance my clutch at slope, the car eventually will move forward LOL. Damn stress.

Nevermind. I agreed to it because he is a "honda specialist". Afterall, i chose his workshop because of his expertise, right? Takan nak go against his expert advice.

So anyway, it was bullshit.

After he finished pouring all 3.5L, there was no overflow at all. He insisted this proves its not enough. So, i agreed to purchase another 1L from him. He add just a small amount and fluid started to overflow already. To prove his point he continued to pour the fluid and let it overflow to the basin. Probably to make me feel like i was getting my money's worth for the 1L, he said that experts usually let it overflow and top up some more to clear old oil. I honestly felt like an idiot agreeing to buy the additional 1 L.

Needless to say, thats the last time i will be going to his workshop.

I see... thats a lot of suspension mods. Did you lower the ride height as well? I feel City height is too high, can see a huge gap above the wheels in wheel arch. But at same time I no longer worried going over high bumps (my area got lotsa these). How does ur car feel then going over bumps?
