Before Unboxing

The packaging of the printer comes with standard design. The other halve of the box comes with dual language, English and Thai Language.

After Unboxing

The printer was well covered and, all the accessories were well packed. Well done HP. The given USB cable is quite long compared to standard printers out there.

CHAPTER 2: SPECIFICATIONS

The specifications of the printer is quite long. You can check the full specifications here.

CHAPTER 3: WALK-THROUGH

I satisfy with the printer outlook. All the buttons are reachable, and, the buttons are well mapped at the right side (left-hand side) of the printer.

CHAPTER 4: FEATURES OFFERED

Print

[attachmentid=10032729]

Analysis of Print features:

The print quality by far, the best I say, especially for an inkjet printer. I strongly believe that, this printer uses less ink compared to other printers.

Scan

[attachmentid=10032731]

Analysis of Scan feature:

The image quality is pretty decent. No issues here, if it is meant for office and student use. However, for photo enthusiastic, well, the quality might be slightly disappointed you thou the printer scores through printing quality.

CHAPTER 5: ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES

Advantages

1. Affordable
2. Wireless feature offered.
3. Wireless mobile printing
4. Light

Disadvantages

none.

CHAPTER 6: CONCLUSION

[attachmentid=10032738]

The printer is cheap, costing about RM255 @ IT Hypermarket. The replacement cartridge cost around RM39.00, however, there is a promo for a set of ink cartridges for the price of RM60. However, some online retails selling the combo pack (black-black / black-color) for the price of RM53. For students, this printer definitely made for you and for start-uppers, if you're minimizing your capital cost of starting up a business, well, this printer suits your need well.

This printer was not meant to be a printer that suitable for everyday heavy printing. But it is good for general printing, i.e. if you're a student or a teacher or own a small business owner. The printer is quite good. Now I am using HP Deskjet 3835 after my 2676 went kaput last year. nod.gif

Actually you can sell the empty ink-cartridge back to a certified dealer at a cheaper price. Agreeing with your point there, CISS printer are better alternatives out there, but not all brands provide you with quality and longitivity. Most entry level printers only to be made lasts for one or two year long as standard. More than that, consider youself as a lucky guy.

Buy official ink tank printers. Epson, hp, canon all have it.
My epson have been running for years now. Just print full color full page no need to think. Paper is more expensive than ink now.

No one would ever invest on a custom-made CISS system these days. Most of them will go for the officially made CISS system made by the manufacturers. So ya, I agree with the points.

I have the 3635. Great printer that looks kinda same with this. The only con I can think of is the time it takes to scan something. It's definitely slow. Not sure about this model tho. Care to test?

Unfortunately, I can't test the requested model since the printer was reviewed since I bought one. Perhaps, you may refer to other online reviews on this model?
