I'm travelling from CDG Paris to KLIA via JEDDAH with Saudi Airlines.
The airline informed me that they do not serve any alcohol beverage on board and they even don't allow to carry on board.
I want to know whether it is possible to carry alcohol in check-in baggage? I want to take some alcohol TO kl but I could not find any reference where it is specifically written that I can/can't carry in 'check in' luggage.
Has anybody carried alcohol like this ?

They will ask u right after u put your check-in luggage on the belt. Up to you to tell them directly in his eyes whether yes or no. At your own risk It feels like holding you ransom at that time. Either you throw away your expensive alcohol or you don't fly. I know because I have flown with Saudia Airlines before. No pork, no alcohol on board - but food is surprisingly awesome. You can see those dress sexily quickly change into burqa with their husband holding the cloth covering them when they change before they land at Jeddah An eye-opening experience for me. I don't understand buying the cheapest offer ticket and yet trying to take home expensive alcohol. Also either you drink it, the floor/dustbin drink it or your new French friend drink it.

LOL Interesting....so that still happens..... Many years ago, mh flights to LHR need to make a stop, and uses Dubai, then a small dusty airport with no aerobridges.....they do pick up some passengers....who will come on board as ninjas.....the moment the door closes, they all come off, and wow!.....full makeup and sexy clothings underneath the gunny sack....lol

TS asking about check-in luggage lah. pinkfoxlulu - the answer is, liquid can, but ALCOHOL (officially not stated) cannot because it is haram. The only risk is to tell them confidently that there is no liquor in your check-in baggage. This post has been edited by jimmyktp: Sep 20 2018, 03:59 PM

I don't see there is a problem because you are "transiting" in Jeddah. Yours check-in luggage final destination is KLIA not Jeddah.
If worry, just call the airlines to confirm.
