My Computer's wifi adapter DWA182 keeps turning off and on, and the signs are pages can't load or it stuck.

The wifi icon will turn grey and then X and then a computer icon with X . like Not connected to anything.

Drivers are updated to the Very Latest available.

Hardware Revision is ' D '.

- Things i have done : turn off Power saving on USB ports, on the Network Adapter...

Still can't do.. it happens randomly. Windows are updated to the the latest one available..

Try your WIFI adapter in another pc/notebook.

Same problem, the adapter is spoiled.

A little more info I forgot to add :
Whenever it connects but can't find the internet, the network properties for the 5ghz network says the frequency is 2.4 (which is not correct). When I do eventually get the adapter to connect it will say that it is the correct 5ghz band. Could the adapter be struggling to receive at 5GHz?

And sometimes even if it says connected, secured, the pages can't be loaded.

1) adapter is spoilt, even if it is new doesn't mean you will not get a problem one.

2) your usb port loosed, try other port is it the same issue, certain usb port supply less power output which might not able to fully power up the device, try the port at the back of PC

3) try the device on other PC, just to eliminate your PC compatible issue, could be your mobo bios unable to read the device?

1 - I see...

2 - The motherboard USB port is snug, and using the one at the back.

3 - I will try it on the laptop and see how.
