mine is imported engine oil, most of them only available in US Quart.
yes, if u need 4L, then u need 4 quart and price x 4 time.

yes, i would recomemeded do a Flush b4 switch to fully synthetic since the engine been using mineral oil all the while and clock 55k km.

but, pls take note when u are doing a flush.

is good to shorten the 1st oil change interval after doing engine flush, because some flush engine still remain in the engine.
eg: 1-5k km for 1st oil change, after that is 10k km.


for me, i will drain again after a few trip of driving, that is about 2-300km.

Kia Sportage 2.0 newer model - what oil is recommended as I have no clue what 5w30 or 0w30 or whatever it is - can someone educate me on this

I'm interest about redline complete fuel system cleaner SI-1, how to deal with you?

Mobil 1 5W30EP or Amsoil ASL 5W30 is recommemded.

The number infront of W is the "oil flow" level during 40 degree celcius.
The number after the W is viscocity aka thickness of the oil during operation tempeture.

in malaysia, such a hot climate, not really need to bother the number infront of W..0W, 5W, 10W is suitable.

but normally the lesses the number the better based stock required..i would try to use the lesses number i can get on same model of oil.

Both Fully synthetic and suit your LSD unit.
