No. I would never consider giving up my Malaysian citizenship for another country. Sorry.. but msia is still the best country in the world for me.

I would consider dual citizenship and hiding the other country from msia authorities. But never will I consider if forced to give up my msian passport.

That says more about Malaysia and not Singapore. Truth hurts. If Malaysia had "good infrastructure and management" like you stated than Malaysia wouldn't have this issue.
Also, your standard of living is obviously lower if you don't earn a certain amount. That happens in EVERY country. However, living on low wages in Malaysia is worse than in Singapore. Singapore has many social safety nets that Malaysia lacks, and that is what makes Singapore a developed country. Facts don't lie.

If not earning enough in Singapore makes you 'live like trash', I can't imagine what you would live as in Malaysia earning low wages.

Social net lacking?

1. Almost free healthcare - govt hospitals
2. Jobless insurance (EIS)
3. Socso
4. Free education up to secondary school
5. Subsidies (Petrol)
6. And of course, Brim or BSH

Then why do you want to apply PR? The way you talk about SG is as though you hate it.
