Looking for suggestions for a laptop/notebook (don't know the difference) for editing/painting purposes.
Specific programs: Photoshop CC (and possibly future versions?), Premiere Pro (light editing)
Budget: myr2000-myr5000
If possible, would take something that will last awhile in terms of parts.

QUOTE(myway1985 @ Oct 1 2018, 10:48 AM) I'm not quite sure what you're asking. If you mean whether I want the card to be a GTX, I'd prefer so, but I'm not sure how relevant it is to Photoshop/PremierePro. If you're asking what graphics card I want specifically, I have no idea what's good now, been running on pretty old stuff for my desktop.

QUOTE(myway1985 @ Oct 1 2018, 10:58 AM) i means u wan gtx card or quadro card I don't know the difference. -does quick google search- It seems I should say Quadro because it's more relevant to my work? But I've always used GTX and have had no issue. I'll take suggestions for both, if that's okay. This post has been edited by scootersRcool: Oct 1 2018, 11:07 AM

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Oct 1 2018, 04:52 PM) Budget so flexible? There are tons of options for such budget Any preference on weight and battery life? Battery life... I suppose if I'm being really greedy I'd ask for 8 hours. (but I don't know what the average/realistic is) Weight... I think whatever is fine, though now I'm thinking about the possibility of it being somehow too heavy for me to lift. (lel)

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Oct 1 2018, 05:11 PM) Maybe you can consider Thinkpad T480 with WQHD panel and MX150? Need to get promo code though Slightly overbudget, yeah. I'll add it to the list, though. Thanks.

Welp, round 2.
Budget: 7k CPU: i7 or higher (may not be relevant RAM : 16/32GB Weight: If possible, below 2kg, but this is flexible. Battery life: 7-8+ hours? (or whatever is reasonable)
Uses : Highly aggressive photoshop. Note: Memory(RAM) is top priority.
