Hey guys, need some recommendation for a gaming laptop, budget is RM4000, but with 2 requests: 1. Good cooling solution like 2 heatsink 1 for the CPU, 1 for the GPU which the heatsink is far away from each other unlike the Acer Nitro 5 which combines both cooling into 1 heatsink 2. Must have Thunderbolt 3 connector - Need to connect a USB type C docking station so I can connect 2 external monitors, I use my laptop for work too
PS: Thunderbolt 3 may look like a usual USB Type-C connector but it offers much more than your typical Type-C connector

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ May 4 2019, 12:21 AM) Good cooling solution doesn't depend on number of heatpipes and design only
Any preference on weight and battery life? If you want TB3, Dell G7 might be the only option Any idea about the ASUS FX505? Is the cooling solution good? Just found out that Dell produces the Dell D6000 universal docking station that would work with any laptop, so Thunderbolt 3 is no longer a requirement Also, what's the difference between FX504 & FX505? Tried googling but couldn't find any good answers This post has been edited by sHawTY: May 4 2019, 12:47 AM

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ May 4 2019, 03:05 AM) Asus FX is mediocre (Ryzen models are acceptable)
No preference on weight and battery life? The lighter the better offcourse May I ask why is the Ryzen models is better than Intel?
