1. Budget: Below 3.9K

2. Usage: Programming, Movies, Web Browsing, Light Gaming (The Sims 4)

3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :
- Display size: 13 – 14 inch
- Battery life: At least 5 hours (The longer the better)
- Hard disk: At least 256 SSD
- Weight: Below 1.5kg
- Processor: Intel i5/i7 8th Gen
- RAM: Min 8GB (Will more prefer if RAM can be upgradable in future)
- Graphic card: Nvidia MX130/MX150 (Not necessary, but will be nice to have it)
- Brand: Lenovo, Dell, HP

I am currently looking for those option:

HP ENVY 13-ah0041tx/ah1027tx (around 3.8k in Lazada)
Intel Core i5-8250U/i5-8265U
8GB 2133 LPDDR3 onboard (Not ungradable)
360GB PCIe
NVIDIA MX150
2 Years HP onsite

Dell Latitude 7490 (around 3.7k in Lazada, brand new retail set without box)
Intel Core i7-8650U
8GB 2400MHz DDR4 (2 Slots, Max 32GB)
M.2 SATA 2280 512GB SSD
Intel UHD Graphics 620
3 Years ProSupport

Lenovo Thinkpad T480s (around 3.9k in Carousell, brand new sealed open)
Intel Core i7-8550U
8GB 2400MHz DDR4 onboard (Extra 1 Slot, Max 24GB)
M.2 PCIe 3.0 256GB
Intel UHD Graphics 620
Manufacturer Warranty expires in 2021.

Please suggest which one should I choose from above option or any other laptops which is not in the option but worth to check it out. I will be travelled a lot, so light weight and long battery life is important to me. Thank you.

Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradable 8GB RAM?

Many premade business laptops comes with 768p TN panel

For low sRBG no, one of my option HP ENVY 13 is not upgradable, but I hope the laptop can lasts for at least 4 years and still running smoothly.

I would prefer 1080p display.

Thanks for your recommendation.

I think I will focus on Lenovo Yoga S730, HP Envy 13, Lenovo Ideapad 530s 14 and Dell Inspiron 13 7380.

I am wondering how long can lenovo ideapad 530s battery last?

Lenovo Yoga S730 is quite attractive in terms of design and spec with that price, unfortunately, there are no USB-A, but I am still interested but there are no much review. Does anyone own Lenovo Yoga S730 and can share their experience with me?

I didn't see Lenovo ideapad 530s in Lenovo retail store in Plaza Lowyat, is anyone know where could I find it in Klang Valley area? I'd like to hand on the laptop before buy it.

I saw some of the reviews said that Lenovo ideapad 530s battery only can lasts 5-6 hours. I know I can buy it online, but I'd like to hand on the laptop to feel the keyboard and trackpad before make decision.

Thanks anyway.
