hi, looking for a laptop to replace my desktop.
1. budget: about 4k or less
2. usage: ms office, photoshop, autocad, watch movies, music, web surfing, no gaming.
3. requirements - 15" ips display, 1920x1080 - full size keyboard - dual storage drive, 1 ssd + 1 hdd - 8gb ram - durable and reliable, with good warranty/aftersale support - good cooling because sometimes switched on for hours, plugged in - intel cpu - prefer no bundled software. only windows 10, preferably win10 pro
thanks

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Nov 25 2018, 11:08 AM) If you want more durability and reliability, premium business laptop is the best choice, however your budget is a bit low for that due to your requirements May consider Thinkpad T580 with UHD panel, no dGPU. Keep in mind that 2.5 inch bay shares with M.2 2280, best option is to get HDD+M.2 2242 (WWAN slot) eh? i looked at lenovo website, there's no option for dual storage. sorry not really tech savvy, so i don't understand when u say HDD+M.2 2242 WWAN slot. any links for me to read?

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Nov 25 2018, 12:23 PM) You can either get HDD or M.2 2280 from the configuration site, if you want HDD+SSD you need to add M.2 2242 which can be hard to find https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/...d_on_wwan_slot/https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/...ung_860_evo_m2/u mean, send it elsewhere for custom upgrade? If i don't carry the laptop around, just leave it at home, can home-grade laptops give me years of service too? This post has been edited by miaopurr: Nov 25 2018, 01:59 PM
