Hello peeps, I'm buying a laptop for Graphics Design purposes with light 3D in Sketchup. I already have a desktop, but sometimes need to be mobile for meetings.
1. Preferred Brand : Any brand.
2. Budget : RM2.5k+-
3. Screen size : At least 13"
4. Main preference : SSD and 8GB RAM is a must, looking at good SRGB/NTSC screens for graphics design.
5. Usage : Image editing, design (Adobe software) and light 3D modelling.
Additional note: I've been surveying for few days now, but there are too many models and I'm getting more confused and further from buying anything. Hoping you guys can help me out! Thanks!

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Mar 6 2019, 01:37 AM) Afraid I can't increase my budget, I understand getting the screen that I specified is very hard at this price range? If so, maybe you can recommend at least an IPS and acceptable brightness? Thanks!

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Mar 7 2019, 01:35 PM) Define acceptable brightness - how many nits max? Maybe around 280 nits (limited knowledge here)? I would mostly spend time working indoors. But if I have to use it outdoors (not direct sunlight, maybe outside mamak), I hope at least I can still work with the laptop.

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Mar 7 2019, 01:55 PM) Most low end IPS panels have 200-250 nits, so I think you still need to increase your budget, unless you're fine with outdated hardware in used/refurb stuffs Aww. What do you think of this Dell model though? Inspiron 5480
