Please recommend a laptop.

1. Budget : <10k

2. Usage : light gaming (LoL), Programming(c#, java, asp.net and others),photoshop, lightroom.

3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :
Display: 13-15inches
Battery Life: 4 hours min.
Weight: <= 2kg excluding brick
- reliable, not easy break down like asus.
- TB3 preferable (if any)

8gb ram or less but upgradable , no storage preferene but upgradable. will use back my ram and ssd.

Considering Macbook Pro 15" 2019 but still looking for alternative.

Then no Apple too

Consider premium business laptops / true mobile workstations (eg Thinkpad T, X1 Extreme etc)

I heard Apple keyboard alot problem even for 4th gen butterfly key. haha

other than that still got what brand and model? I like HP design but phobia of HP quality.

Could you please recommend me other brand which consumer grade as well, of course i understand those brand is depends on luck also. Would appreciate for the good case design as well.

True mobile workstations usually weight more than 2kg (Thinkpad P52, Precision 7530, Zbook 15 G5), Thinkpad X1 Extreme / P1 is the only one under 2kg (GPU max at 1050TI/P2000 MQ, heat issue)

Premium business laptops have less powerful hardware (eg Thinkpad T series, Latitude 7000 series etc)

Ic, how about consumer grade laptop? Please ignore the reliable factor for this. biggrin.gif

If you want sub 2kg and >4 hrs battery life:
Level51 Slate-15
Illegear Onyx 63Wh
Acer Predator Triton PT515-51-71KN/73YN
MSI GS65 9SE-476, GS65 8SE-275

Note that thinner = hotter CPU temp
