Recommendations of laptop for students at a budget of RM4k
Prefer 14 inch screen, good battery life and of course not so heavy.

Currently thinking of getting Zenbook UX433 , but is there any good option available ? Thanks

Usage? Min how many hours of battery life? Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradable RAM?

5 hours of battery life ? I think the screen could be better and upgradable RAM consider this price range ?

Laptop around 3.5k that is suitable for study , gaming and watching movie. Prefer nice display and battery life and 14 inch. Could increase budget if necessary. Thanks!

The longer the better for battery life , prefer 14inch more and upgradable RAM. If there isnt any good laptop at this price point , no problem to increase the budget.

Choose between nice display or upgradable RAM, you can't get both for your budget if you want 14 inch

Ideapad S540 81NH000MMJ might fit in your requirements but there isn't any reviews yet

Nice display would be my choice

Would like to ask which should I choose ?
Illegear Raven or Onyx Lite ?

Raven has better spec with i5 9300H and GTX 1650 but it is heavier(2.2kg0 as portable is my concern because I am a college students. It has thicker bezel than the Onyx Lite. Cheaper too(RM3766)

Onyx Lite has i5 8300H and GTX 1050 Ti. It is lighter(1.95kg) for my needs as a college students. In my opinion, the screen bezel is thinner too which is very nice to look at compared to Raven. However , it is slightly expensive too( RM3899)

What do you guys think? Do you think I should sacrifice better spec to get a portable one ? Will I regret ? I kinda in a dilemma.

You need to try out the weight by yourself. Some might think that 2.2kg is light/acceptable while some might think that even 2kg is heavy

Any preference on battery life? Max budget? Sure you want gaming laptop?

Yeah but the Onyx Lite is so nice to look at with thinner bezel and lighter too, but Raven has better specs. Battery life 3-4 hours should be okay, max budget 4k. Having a gaming laptop would be okay too.
