1. Budget: around 3.5k. can up to 4k if deal is good haha 2. Usage: movies, Ms office, maybe some light gaming like nba 2k etc. Mainly looking for multimedia laptop. 3. Requirement: - don't really have any specific brand in mind but tend to prefer Lenovo, Dell or HP. - 13-14 inch screen - preferrably ram and HDD/SSD not soldered - nice screen will be a plus otherwise will be mostly connected to a monitor - not too thick - less than 2cm and 2kg maybe? - battery life not really a concern ~5hrs seems pretty ok Thanks in advance sifus This post has been edited by boombastick: Dec 19 2018, 12:19 AM

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Dec 19 2018, 12:25 AM) Choose between these 2: Good display (high sRGB) or, upgradable RAM Need dGPU? can see the choices between good display and upgradable ram? would tend to favour upgradable ram more - but how suck would the display be? not necessarily need dGPU, but if got something like mx150 would be good. thanks again

Hi Sifus, Any rekomen for the below? Thanks in advance. Budget: 2.3k (inclusive of cost to upgrade to 128gb ssd and 8gb ram, if build comes without) Usage: office + normal surfing + media (movies etc) Size: 13-14" Screen: nice bright screen (sRGB doesn't matter as long it's a decent panel) - can get 1080p panel at this price? Battery: >5 hrs Others: - dGPU - Intergrated graphics should do. - decent build quality with slim bezel - weight preferrable <2kg Thanks in advance! Side question: what u guys think about the performance and battery performance for amd ryzen 5 with Vega graphics i.e. HP Envy 13? This post has been edited by boombastick: Apr 14 2019, 10:27 AM
