been seeing a lot of recommendations for the Y530 lately.. (3.4k after 15% discount)

Mind to share other competitor/options besides it?

lenovo y530 price increased by few hundreds already?

was using this baseline to check, now same specs with 15% discount costs 3.8k compared to previously was 3.4k.

about 400 ringgit increase. now having 2nd thoughts whether want to go for this or not..

well. thats unfortunate..
time to look at other brands/models then..

1. Budget : 3-4k, willing to stretch to 4.5k

2. Usage : office work, programming, movies, music, gaming

3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :

must: 15.6" screen, 8th gen i5/i7, gtx1050ti/1060, 16gb ram min, ssd + hdd.

dont care: battery life and weight.

initially wanted to go for the y530 already one, but then suddenly increased price.. so not sure if its still a good choice or got others that you can recommend.

i liked the y530 cause it doesnt have that typical gaming laptop look, white led is way nicer than red and makes the whole laptop look professional enough, read reviews that the keyboard is also quite decent, etc.
