Hmmm is it much better in other aspect compared to asus tuf fx505 gtx1050 ver? haha.. but im quite afraid of online buying like i cannot make sure it is really good then i pay money and buy

I was also scared of buying online but Illegear will go the extra ways to make sure you're not being scammed.

They use DHL for shipping and once they provide the tracking number, the tracking is very detailed.
and even before a tracking number is provided, you can track your laptop as it is being processed through Illegear's office.

Anyway they are established here in Malaysia. Shouldn't be an issue

It's a cheap and powerful gaming machine ....

something with MX150 should be good enough but RM3k to RM4k can get GTX 1050 / GTX 1050 Ti which will deliver even better performance

Any preference on battery life?

FYI i5 and i7 don't have much performance difference in ULVs (especially multi core performance) due to thermal and power (firmware related) limitations

I'm looking at this:

Lenovo Y530
i5-8300H
8GB DDR4 2666MHz
GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5
1TB 5400rpm

Seems like a good value for around 3.4-3.5k.
At first I was looking at 1050 laptops but they cost like 2.6-2.9k with 4GB RAM.

But now I'm not too sure. I'm going to play Apex Legends and CS:Go so I think a GTX 1050 should be sufficient right?

All of them are good models TBH

I see. I'll take a look at the suggested model. Can't find much Thinkpad at Kuching, but spot some Swift, Huawei and Zenbook the other day.

Anyway, what's the deal with high vs low sRGB? Googled but not much info. Is it the maximum brightness and accurate color reproduction of panel?

Apex need at least 1050TI at 1080p

81FV016UMJ has low sRGB display and needs SSD upgrade, otherwise good. Can also consider Illegear Raven and Commandos Glock 5

Thinkpads need to buy online (customize)

high sRGB basically means more vibrant colours

Good sRGB IPS, non-upgradable RAM:
Huawei Matebook 13
Lenovo Yoga S730 81J0005LMJ / 81J0005KMJ - no USB A, battery quite small
Lenovo Yoga 730 13 customize
Lenovo Ideapad 720s 13 Intel 81BV000BMJ / CMJ
Acer Spin 5 SP513-53N-52HJ, SP513-52N-58QD
Asus Zenbook UX331F-ALEG010T
HP Envy 13-AH1027TX / 13-AH1038TX (256GB) / 13-AH0041TX

Low sRGB IPS:
Lenovo Thinkpad L380/L390
Dell Inspiron 13 7373 - small battery, non-upgradable RAM
Dell Inspiron 13 7380 - small battery, non-upgradable RAM
Asus Vivobook S330F-AEY106T / AEY107T - non-upgradable RAM

Upgrade SSD by your own if not enough since not many models with 512GB SSD out of the box

Wouldn't mind the sRGB because I don't do any advanced photo/video editing. Then I guess I could add on the SSD upon purchase or later then.

I checked out the Commandos Glock 5 seems interesting. If use i3-8100 sounds good.
