1. Budget : max 3.5k
2. Usage : uni usage, CAD software, multimedia, light gaming.
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :
-15 inch display
-Preferably come with SSD or SSD upgradeable slot
-RAM slot upgradeable in future
- Prefer 1080p nice screen, good battery life.
Open for any brands

Min how many hours of battery life?

If you want good sRGB 15 inch display, for your budget it's a bit difficult to get

I see, i guess it depends on how they use the battery. Probably keep my eye on the Triton 500, i was really into the Y740 but the battery life was abysmal on some reviews. Not to mention the HUGE power brick to go along.

Probably wait out maybe till the end of the year to see other models incoming.

Actually I like the change. 230W means that you can push CPU+GPU further without have to worry about battery drain

Dell G7 if you want good hardware, but it's a bit bulky and has low sRGB IPS
Lenovo Yoga 730 15 if you prefer light weight and don't mind lower end hardware (still pretty powerful TBH)

Not sure MX150 is enough for your workload. Can accept MX150 laptops?

Hi there, im looking for budget gaming laptop here, i'm currently focusing on 3 laptop. im only focusing on performance, cheaper cost and smooth pc, battery life and weight doesnt matter

1. Asus X570ZD
-AMD Ryzen 5 2500U
-Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 4gb
-4gb ram
-1tb hdd

2. Asus FX505DY (AMD version)
-Ryzen 5 3550H
-RX 560X 4gb
-4gb ram
-1tb hdd

3.Asus FX505GD
-i5-8300H
-GTX 1050 4GB
-4 gb ram
-1tb hdd

im using laptop for school works, gaming but ok with low setting, solidwork stuff.
currently im into the 2nd option because i did check with google RX560 is actually better than gtx1050 but it is cheaper than the gtx1050 version.

The most you can get from a low sRGB display (usually) is about 250 nits which isn't bright enough for outdoor use (daylight under shade)

No preference on weight?

Max budget? Are you a student?

RX560X is slightly slower than 1050 overall (runs slightly hotter and power throttled more compared to 1050)

I would get a Raven from Illegear. Yes, it's RM200 over your maximum budget, but I think it's well worth it. The current promotion is the best I've seen in recent months.

Hmmm is it much better in other aspect compared to asus tuf fx505 gtx1050 ver? haha.. but im quite afraid of online buying like i cannot make sure it is really good then i pay money and buy
