I don't mind low sRGB IPS and non-upgradable RAM. Preferably 13 inch but must be 2-in-1.

Hi I looking for more like budget gaming

I can spend about 3k but better don't over 3.5k I just don't want to spend so much.

I got a spare 480gb SSD at home so I would just swap it if I buy a new laptop.

Currently looking at
commandos Glock 5 , i5 / take all the basic only 3.2k
Or the illegear raven

Leaning towards the glock 5 now

Or any good prebuild from known brands?

Need opinion + CES coming and rtx laptop wait for rtx?

Had an Illegear u4 for the past 1 year and had loads of issues with it. Proceed with caution and buy the most expensive warranty.

Guess you have a bad luck. Clevo drivers aren't known as good, however I've seen some ppl with no issues on this model
Correction: I'm referring to U3 which is a different model

I guess so. But the build quality was really subpar for a 5k laptop. Whole rig made off cheap plastic.

Budget: 1.5k+-
Purpose: Buying for 7-years old nephew to start learning with some basic office tools + browsing
Preferable brand: None (but with SSD is better)
Min spec: Intel i3, 4GB ram (preferable 8GB, or upgrade later). Can AMD A6 9225 beats i3?

Go for used/refurb laptops with 1 yr warranty, you won't get a good, new laptop with that budget

Thank you very much zstan for the feedback given, we shall collect this input and will continue to improve the quality of our laptops. I believe the U4 was starting at RM3K last time for the base specs but the price will increase according to the specs chosen, hope this clarifies.
