quick question, if I back up my iphone X now (running iOS 11.2), when I get my new iphone xs, will I be able to restore my backup on the new phone?

backup on 11.2, restore on ios 12? is it possible?

cool, so I don't need to purpose update to ios 12 on my current phone right? coz I had some bad experience last time, where I did backup on ios 10, and when I get the new iphone x, it says restore failed coz new phone is running on ios 11 by default.. cry.gif

11.2 backup, restore to 12.0 later... ok
Backup 12.0, restore to 11.4.1... doable but tedious, not recommended
