How much on average does it cost these days for a battery change in official service center?
Mine is around 78% which it is prompting me to replace. Been quoted like RM600+ at unofficial shops which seems crazy high.

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Aug 7 2020, 12:33 PM) Crazily high is one thing, sellers will tell you its oem or aa or aaa which is all bullshit. All fake batteries that would not last. Must go back to Apple SC for original batteries. Well, the problem i had with authorized is that they would give me alot of reason to not service them, even though i am paying. The last time i tried to service mine (changing battery as well), they mention that my screen has a scratch and there is a potential problem where they would break the screen (why they would open the screen i dont know) if they were to change my battery. And if that happens, i would also have to pay for the screen repair and they would not be responsible for it - and ask whether i would take the risk. But it seems like the battery from non-authorized are now super inflated in terms of price. Maybe i should find another authorized center, if it is around the RM300+ range.
