Heya I booked at Dutamas Switch

Screen Issue Update: (27-06-2020)
Today my touch issue got worse, random screen light up. Like when you touch to wake. = ((( I hope one day screen replacement can be done. I am contemplating also on the possibility of doing a battery replacement since they already open up the phone.

Update : 29-06-2020
Went in at 10:00 AM, Phone reset with technician and handover at 10:20AM, Was informed will take a few hours or at worse 7-14 days if additional issues detected. Also was informed on the charges.

Got called at 11:50AM, Phone is ready for pickup. Picked up phone and everything is good. 90 Days warranty on touch issue starts.

FYI: The RRP for screen replacement RM1565.00

Hi there, what is your battery condition at the moment ?
I think it cost about RM RM350+ at the Service Centre.

Oh no wonder your considering as that’s the recommended level to consider changing the battery.

Will you consider to make the change from an Apple service Center or outside?

Guys, my iPhone X has some FaceID issues.. suddenly it won't work and when go to setting, it will say Not Available. Resetting or rebooting the phone solves the issue, but after few days it will reoccur. Whats the problem actually? Latest iOS.

I also just changed my display yesterday, sent in my phone to itworld in Sunway geo branch at 1pm and around 3.40pm they called me saying that it’s ready for collection already. Really fast, now my screen is so much more responsive

Hi!

I realize my battery losses 20% overnight (about 10 hours gap). I’m on latest iOS and battery health is 81%. Is it normal? Recently I also turn on iCloud back up. Could it be the reason?

Wow that’s some major drain!
That depends on how much is being backed up on you iCloud. If it had finished it should not drain so much. Alternatively check your battery app to see what could be draining your battery. Cheers

According to reports one reason is Apple Music background refresh is the cause. Are you using Apple Music? To fix that delete app and reinstall or switch off the background refresh.

Well my battery health is around 77% so it’s time to change battery. Notice that iPhone performs slightly better after I change battery I.e. no longer app hang or freeze

Does the battery decrease much slower? My battery at 87% but without even using it, battery decreases quite fast

ITWorld is 1 of authorised reseller...how is it going?

I went for Machines earlier when mine throwing "service" on me...but Machines refused to fix just battery, said my phone has liquid detection, they can only do full replacement, which then cost u almost 3k (I better off get new if I want to)

Been continue with the phone since then, but lately start throwing weird behaviour...like at night will suddenly lost from 8x%/7x% to 6x% (I usually go bed at night with about 9x% remaining).

So now thinking whether to just continue live with it (probably always carry power bank around if away from power source), or find external party to replace batt (just worry those issue people not reset properly and brick the thing)

Liquid detection? Did liquid enter your phone?

unless sweat count...in my memory I never once letting that phone into any liquid before...but still...somehow they claim my liquid detection is positive and refused for batt replacement, must go full replacement that cost ~3K, so I gave up.

Just wonder if anyone did before batt replacement with those non-authorised service provider on X and newer models, how assure its working after that...

Curious also if anyone used before secondlifeasia?
so far seen only 1 mention before...
their price for batt change + labour (400++) seems on the high side if compare with official store repair...
I am fine if its reliable...or there are others who is okay also?
