Just courious. Anyone ever heard of Apitherapy (bee sting treatment). Basically the treatment uses bee sting to alleviate some medical conditions of the patient. Heard there is center in Malaysia offered this treatment (Afnan Apitherapy).

So, anyone tried before? would like to know if it really works. Thanks! smile.gif

My mum used to go one of the homemade centre at JB.

She said the treatment is very effective for blood clot or blockage area but expect to get swollen for almost 1 week.

how can bee sting help cure the slip disc pain ? by giving you more pain?

for slip disc, if you do not prefer operation,
go to physio and do traction part of the physio. be consistent. it will help. wont cure but reduce the pain

Im just trying to explore all these 'alternative' treatments. But before that of course would like to know real feedback from anyone who experienced it.

And yes, apart from physio smile.gif

It can relieve your existing pain by putting different kind of "pain" at that area. Just like turning arthritis pain to surface pain instead.

Bear in mind, they don't fix your slipped disc but suppress the pain and allow faster blood flow at the stinged area. In some case, your injury heal faster because your blood flow faster to fix it.
