Those handballs from cesc were completely unintentional but I was holding my breath when I saw morata beyond their last defender during the replays for emerson's goal. However, he wasn't really interefering with play and it could've gone either way. Admittedly if we were on the receiving end I'd be pretty pissed though

Getting a bit annoyed with giroud's ineffectiveness upfront, but otherwise it's been a very decent performance.

Great to see how we've switched to a 'half court' press knowing well that a full press with giroud,eden,and willian upfront would be pretty futile. Looks like sarri isn't so one dimensional after all aye

Morata actually had one big contribution in stealing possession from van dijk and laying it off to moses who had his shot blocked. Almost snatched it late on.

Definitely missed those intelligent runs in behind the defence. It's amazing that we basically only have eden and pedro who're capable of this. I think he would've put away that one on one which fell to willian as well.

I got no beef with the ATM snake. But that 'real' snake deserves to be stuffed.

Now that eden is scoring for fun,anyone fancy sarri turning him into our very own dries mertens? With pedro and willian on the flanks and everyone interchanging positions,I think it could turn out brilliant,especially with our tendency to keep everything on the ground. Eden is more than capable of adapting to the role imo.

Much better than giroud and morata who have been nothing short of awful against decent opposition. Giroud in particular might as well have not been playing yesterday,I can't recall a single attacking move he contributed to. At least morata forced a mistake which almost lead to our winning goal.

Would love to see sarri experiment with eden at CF.

Sigh. Out of all the things going on at chelsea at the moment,I can confidently say I'm (slighty) optimistic for morata to start scoring regularly again, optimistic for us to snatch a top four finish and optimistic that eden will have his best scoring season with us.

However I'm NOT optimistic that any of our youth will be given a decent chance to prove their mettle in the first team. Oh how I hope sarri proves me wrong but u gotta say we're not off to a good start in that sense.

This is a huge part of the problem. But if we play sexy enough football, I believe this will be the main factor that sways roman once and for all! He's won me over,that's for sure. I love the front foot footie we exhibit when taking the game to the opposition nowadays,we just need to fine tune it even further!
