I think bringing fab on for jorginho isn't a good sub either. He's been doing well just nicking the ball back in crucial areas,although that's supposed to be kante's job.

Fab should've been in for kante imo. Kovacic was doing ok and had just made a killer pass for eden. As u can see kante has suddenly look useless in attack as we're pushing for a goal.

I think alonso has been quite rubbish as well.

Deserved loss and what a pathetic performance. Had our chances,eden and alonso the biggest culprits. Possession without being much of a threat,i swear our passing just seemed to be in slow motion 90% of the time.

It's getting harder to ignore these days. Willian and alonso above all don't deserve to be anywhere near the starting 11, and if i had my way they won't be near the bench either. I refuse to believe CHO or heck even RLC in willy's postion would do any worse. It's just pure favouritism at this point and the same goes for alonso. It's been like this for what,the past 3 games?Start emerson and RLC / CHO, emerson at least has the pace to recover when he's out of postion and RLC / CHO are hell of a lot more direct.

I kind of disagree with sarri finding our reaction strange after we went behind. If anything it wasn't just the players who lost composure but the coach did too,to a certain extent. You could see after he brought on giroud and cesc,we completely lost control of the match,as the latter was interested only in hitting it long to giroud. Our whole gameplan was chucked out the window as morgan and maguire had our 'targetman' safely tucked away in their pockets. The only time he managed to escape their attention,he went for a disastrous half bicycle kick that didn't even trouble schmeichel. Embarassing performance and i'd argue if he's not winning those aerial challenges (which he didn't) for us to retain possession,he's even worse than morata.

Hazard who doesn't even favour the CF position at least managed to get 2 shots on target,one of them unfortunately hitting the bar. I'm all for sarri's system but the lads who don't cut it need to be phased out of the starting 11.

p.s : Pedro needs a swift kick up the arse for attempting a bloody nutmeg in our own half,which lead to us conceding. You'd think he should know better with all that damn experience.

Should've been cruising with a 3 goal lead by half time. Instead we had to graft and scrap for the points. I guess in a way it's good for us to build some character since we failed to turn up vs leicester. At 1 - 1 you could almost feel some players were going to just surrender the lead. Willian's awful finishing and hazard's miss of the season contender dug us into this hole in the first place.

But credit to the latter,he made up for it by finishing a much more difficult chance and tucked away the penalty with ease. Although he clearly doesn't favour the position, i think he's warming up to the idea of getting loads of chances. Could've had a hattrick today,can't believe he took his eye off azpi's perfect low cross.

Good result, not the best performance. Felt awful for CHO, he put in a decent shift and deserved to finish the game imo. I just hope sarri explained to him why he was taken off, when willian could've easily went as well. Barkley had a great cameo, great to see him use his strength to shield the ball and not give it away for a change. Dispossessed once near our box, but other than that he didn't look out of place at all.

Okay that's possible. Guess all will be revealed when we face palace. It seems eden has recently declared he still prefers to be out on the wing,but he's getting better as a CF / false 9. The stats don't lie, he's had 3 goals and 3 assists in his last four games playing in that position.

It's not like morata and giroud would do any better. If we managed to sign someone then maybe we can slot him back on that left wing. Unfortunately, eden in the middle also means willian is practically an automatic starter at this point. Haiz.

Such an intelligent player, wish he was still here. Despite not being physically gifted, his passing and first touch were unreal. He had the football intelligence to play in any attacking position except CF imo. I have no doubt loads of chelsea fans who watched him in our colours, ask for a pic with him whenever he's around SW6.

I'm impressed by how quickly he's adapted. Although you could see he clearly gets annoyed when our defenders hit it long and expect him to go all out for those aerial challenges

He's adjusting his game and I love how he times those last minute runs,he's had a few borderline offside calls which looked on and would've put him through to the keeper. Stays on the shoulder of the last defender and practically unstoppable once he breaks through their offside trap. The thing about eden though,he's not obsessed with goals and he loves to have the ball at his feet more than anything, so sarri still has some persuading to do it seems.

Morata and giroud could learn a thing or three from him. The board need to go big in the summer, but if we fail to secure top four it's all over imo. What we absolutely need to do is be smart with the players / cash that we'll get, if we're indeed forced to bid farewell. Our relationship with madrid seems quite positive so i think we'll receive a 'reasonable' offer from them, after some serious negotiations.

Hazard rarely gets those niggly fouls in the box. And that last shove which was given as a pen as well..it was so unbelievably soft. Such a shame because it was an amazing game prior to that. Tuned off after that, pool are good enough to beat anyone,they definitely don't need anybody's help. Arsenal's attacking prowess was quite scary at times,i wager it could've been a much closer fight without those decisions.

We need to do the business tonight. Palace will be really aggressive i reckon.

Arrgghhh can't believe we loaned him straight back,but gotta admit it's a smart move to avoid a bidding war in the summer. Sigh. Still need a proper goal scorer.

Hazard easily the worst player on the pitch today, even worse than morata imo. Tried to do everything on his own, kept giving the ball away with only 2 pathetic efforts on goal. Practically lost the ball every time he tried to dribble. All that after moaning to the coach about having to play CF.

Morata had a legit goal ruled out for offside, bloody linesmen. He did okay and that should've been 1 - 0. Alonso getting a free pass at LB as usual, zero contribution to our attack. What an awful performance.

Ok i'm sorry but that's a shocking sub. Why take off alvaro who's on a hattrick and bring on a defensive azpi?the lad needs goals, no matter how nonchalant he's looked.

We're 2 goals up against bloody nottingham forest and all this does is put his confidence back to square one in my opinion. Unless we have a confirmed replacement striker signing, it's an awful decision. If we're forced to start him in our next game and he's back to being rubbish, that's on sarri. He can have fun watching all the sitters he's gonna miss.
