Hi all, I am on 30mbps 169/month, old apartment so probably VDSL/copper line. Most likely cant support 100mbps and above.

Is it possible for me to still subscribe the 100mbps/RM129 plan if I am ok with getting less than 100mbps speed (maybe 30-50 depends on the capability)? Will TM allow me to do it?

I just want to pay RM40 less and I don't mind the speed... 30-50 is good enough for me.

Will maxis perform as good as TM's line? just checked, got coverage.. my unifi has been very stable, not sure if I change to Maxis will it be still good.

Wow that's great. I also hope to change mine to this because I am on 30Mbps with 159+SST price. What exactly did you tell TM - just say you want to change to maxis and they straight offer you? Or you asked if there is any other packages?

Just wondering, when you submitted the termination notice, it is a verbal notice but not a form or document right? After the notice if nothing happens (if they didn’t offer another package), will your Unifi be terminated just like that or you still need to go to TM Point to complete the termination manually?

Wondering if I can do the same but without actually having applied for maxis.

Add on: Nevermind, just verified with livechat agent myself. RM500 only if I visit TM Point within 31-35 days and yet do not return the BTU. Else it will need to serve another 30 days notice

So you got 50mbps at RM129? Including hypptv is it? I submitted termination notice and hope they will call me to offer.. without hypptv.

Did you visit TMPoint to complaint about the price? how did you get them to offer you this?

They allowed you to get 100mbps on high rise with copper/VDSL? Did you get the turbo upgrade or you subscribed to the RM129/100mbps plan?

Anyone on VDSL made MCMC complaint? I am on 169/month with 30mbps. Most likely my building can only support up to 50mbps. Can't get turbo but I want to pay less i.e. less than RM129 for 50 Mbps since 100mbps is at RM129 now.

Tried to submit termination notice but TM didn't call me to try retain me sad.gif

I am having RM30 unifiTV on my current bill too (30mbps @ RM159). If i apply for the new RM119 @ 30mbps plan, got chance to remove the UnifiTV? I don't even have the STB and will never watch UnifiTV...
Why should I pay for something I don't need.

Plan to ask for the 30mbps @ 119 plan tomorrow at TM point.. since I am paying 169+ now..

Do I have the right to ask for new equipment even though I am going for the same speed package? I am still using DIR-615 router. Even though it can reach max speed without problem but sometimes still DC.

Just changed at TM Point. Can't get new equipment but do get 1 year extra warranty (not written anywhere or black and white). 2 years contract and can't cancel the hyppTV even after 1 year.. total 119+SST for 30mbps.
