i changed package from 50mb to 100mbps, they come and changed my router yesterday, with dlink 842.

Hi all.... I am on VDSL2 and gladly to inform that my line now supports 100Mbps.



Previously, my VDSL2 only supports about 50Mbps++ (see screenshot below) .. maybe TM did some upgrade at the cabinet outside my apartment.



I was thinking to just switch to Maxis RM89/mth for unlimited 30Mbps, but I guess now I can maintain with Unifi 100Mbps for RM129.

Checking if I'm only user that still stuck with old 30 Mbps upgraded to 50 Mbps with UniFiTV Ultimate cost monthly over RM200 😅😅😅.. contract already ended.. thinking of change to 100 Mbps @ RM129 + 6% SST 🤪

i downgraded from 800mbps to 100mbps lo..
cuz dont need that much,plus my router only support til 300mbps only..
plus right now i save more money than previous..
Current 100mbps plan+Ultimate hypptv
159+6% sst
Last time Turbo 800mbps+Ruby plus hypptv
219+6% sst

I've been told that if I take the offer, contract will reset back to 24 months.

Any idea when? Maybe they think that most people have already switched to the new 100M and thus ready to bring out the lower packages.

If its under RM100, and the new 30M with quota is at RM79, assuming they not going to reduce that one, then there is only RM89 and RM99 left for 30M and 50M. Hopefully without quota also. This may also make sense since some users have been offered RM119 30M and RM129 50M, but with UnifiTV. So less RM30 for each also comes to RM89 and RM99. Just guessing...

Looks like another plan that will backfire at TM if they don’t complete Turbo upgrade for eligible customers.

IMHO (I used to be a razer user myself), most razer products really suck. Only their marketing is good.

For reference to others, I'm also within first year of the 30mbps rm139.

I used to have but long story short, that was removed and retained only Ruby. Now with Aneka as well. Not important for us because we don't watch it at home since Astro and Android TV box are there.

TM going to be remove from KLCI, TM share also drop.

finally can get ~300mbps by enable CFT or bcm_nat on n66u (tomato shibby)

but i dont see the benefit of getting 300mbps, download from MEGA still limited to 3-4mb/s

Sick of fighting with TM, finally downgraded to 100mbps. Not worth at all paying 200++ for 500mbps

Agreed! I'm only paying 159! And I'm not even the cheapest.

I did lodge a complaint with MCMC, and someone from TM did call me, but I almost heart attack in the conversion, really can vomit blood. It's just too bad I don't have other better options here, else I would have ditched Unifi long ago. They're playing fire with consumers now, one day when we have real competition I hope they nose-dive and close shop
Your case worst, paying so much but still not Turbo-ed yet. Right choice here, pay half but twice the speed. Honestly 100mbps is enough already, but I still don't mind if we can get 300mbps for RM 139 just like Time customers, but guess we can dream first for now

Agree. TM is really pushing their luck. It's quite incredible how there is no uniform packages and charges. Real laughing stock of a situation.
