QUOTE(ck.chunkeat @ Oct 8 2018, 09:44 PM) people who want to speed up the turbo process can go tm live chat and say you considering changing to maxis/time, because paying so much for so low speed is not worth it. they will then say Whether this work or not, i duno, but better than sitting here and doing nothing. For people who still using huawei hg850a or non-gigabit ethernet modem is totally useless, better change package (like my house, intend to change package from 50Mbps - RM179 to 100Mbps - RM129) instead of suck our money until next year June. If after this got 300Mbps in RM139 then can consider upgrade later, no even need 500Mbps because it is overkill... This post has been edited by cheekian: Oct 8 2018, 10:05 PM

QUOTE(wong_86 @ Oct 21 2018, 07:17 PM) Just went to Tmpoint this morning for downgrade to 100mbps RM129, reach there before 9am, already saw around 40 people q up, I guess all want to downgrade the plan . I saw in my unifi portal, have a promo discount RM30, original price is RM159 ?? [attachmentid=10078662] Wow, for me need to wait 14 working days to process this package. I think is because they need to make an appointment for technician to change BTU. I already go to asking to change this package since last week, now still no any movement yet...

After 2 weeks of waiting, technician finally come to my house to change equipment as I requested for 100Mbps RM129 from 50Mbps RM179. They come to change router (DIR-842) for me instead of BTU together with router, they told me that if want change BTU (my BTU is HG 260a), I need to request a technician again to change BTU, but I think I won't change it until upgrade to more than 100Mbps... So far I think the router not bad, 1 wall with about 10m can get 92Mbps through 5Ghz Wi-Fi.
