You should nego to RM99. Search this topic and you will find someone got RM99 for 50mbps.
I doubt it. This is TM, you call 10 times can get 10 different answers.

Thanks, I tried but the best he could give me was rm 119 at 30mbps and there's a quota.

I find it weird as there is time broadband in my building but the guy says that my building is still using copper? (find that switching to time is too much hassle, as they will pull the cable into my apartment)

30mbps with quota is rm79, not rm119. If can't get the rm99 package then pester for free std20 n Ultimate pack.

Hi! I was turboed upgraded to 500 mbs from 100 mbs (RM 189) last week, and has complaint to TM. So far still waiting for their technical team assessment. Read the previous posts in this forum, I am not the only one. Anyone has luck upgrade to 800 mbs from RM 189 ? Thanks

Yesterday i went to TMpoint with my friend, he is using 30mbps and wish to sign up new 100mbps/RM129 package, but his unit maximum only can reach 30mbps. The CS offer him 30mbps@RM119 with unilimited quota, then he said this package will be further turbo upgrade to 300mbps when the facility available. I was asking i am expecting paying 300mbps for RM119 and 100mbps for RM129??? The CS said yes, the 100mbps(not eligible for turbo upgrade) only for new customer and 30mbps(300mbps turbo upgrade later) for exiting loyal customer. How come there is such mysterious package available at TM point only?  :confused:  :confused:

Since my unifi is being turbo, I'm thinking of getting a new router to maximize the speed of it.

My usage aren't that great at the moment as I don't play games, no torrent. Just using my unifi with light stuffs like fb, youtube, video streaming, iptv and so on. The only thing is that there are roughly 10-15 devices will be connected to the router. And I hope  my next router wifi coverage will be able to cover as much area as possible for my house.

RT-AC86U : RM600+-, Dual Core 1.8GHz, 256MB Flash, 512MB RAM, Dual Band, 4 LAN Port

GT-AC5300 : RM1400+-, Quad Cord 1.8GHz, 256MB Flash, 1024MB RAM, Tri Band, 8 LAN Port

For extra RM800 for better process, more ram, extra 1 5GHz, extra 4 ports, I'm also interested to know the wifi coverage for both of these model, which one has better wifi coverage, and roughly by how many %?

RT-AC86U is good enough for your uasge, But with a tri-band Router you can try to balance up devices connected to each wifi network(You can do the same with Wifi AP tho)

Why don't you try another chat session with another person and see what answer you get then. If different, then copy paste the first chat and ask why the different answers.  Let us know the results.

can i go tm request them offer me their competitor's package and price?
