Manage to get a technician to come and check why I not getting 800mbps after turbo.  The router C1200 is the problem..
Got any router recommended that not so pricey? I am thinking to downgrade to the 100 mbps package also.
Feel not worth need to spend extra money for this turbo upgrade

This wireless router have no problem to get 800Mbps on wired & on wireless it can get 280Mbps +/-
Please check the wireless router settings such as QoS & NAT boost etc

what to set for QoS & NAT boost to improve performance? My setup: turbo 300mbps,HG8240w, TPlink C1200. TQIA.

It is not modem router, it is just router. Tenda AC15 is okay, and worth the price. 2.4GHz usually can't support up to 100Mbps, and you need to be on 5GHz AC.
Try Tenda routers.
Nope, the C1200 won't be good to go up to 800Mbps, or even 500Mbps, as it might be throttled due to the CPU. See blacktubi thread, on router.
I recommend changing routers.

I am currently on ancient VIP 10 (10MBPS) for RM149... with free channels.

I am thinking to change to 100mbps plan. 2 question.
- Will I get new set of BTU and TV BOX? should i request that first before change plan or after... the current one is very old and seems slowing down.
- Will i still be able to watch basic channel on my tv. Those TV1/2/3/etc

Frankly speaking, mobile devices wont use up to that high speed of connection. No need to bother whether it can achieve 800mbps Turbo or not.

In order to achieve high speed connection, wired is the best option. Wireless is just for convenience.

For mobile 10 Mbps speed is actually good enough.

the problem is 5Ghz have limitation on coverage, my modem is placing at upstairs.

800mbps a bit hard la on wifi, but mine 300mbps ok la. attached mine, tested on wifi 5ghz band on my note 8. my setup:

BTU : Alcatel-Lucent I-240G-P (cat 6 LAN to router 1)
Router 1 : DLink Dir-882 (AC2600), cat 5e to router 2
Router 2 : DLink Dir-842 (AC1200)
Wireless Extender : TP-Link RE450

the person said if 129 excusive sst no unifitv,only online can watch..
family got watch that unifitv using stb..so no choice need to subscribe..but now from ruby+ upgrade to ultimate only add rm30 instead of rm60..they said is promotion price now..
No turbo is allowed..fix at 100mbps dy..ask why,company fix dy..not a huge deal i dont need so much..
