QUOTE(yvliew @ Sep 19 2018, 11:34 AM) Yesterday I went TM with my friend to change 129 100m plan. Because I see many here get turbo after change plan instead. I ask him to try. To my surprise, today his plan got turbo instead of being 100m. Is it just coincidence of tm trying to keep ppl away from changing plan so turbo them quickly when they change plan? I have yet to confirm with My friend what will his price be yet, he is on 50m yesterday for 179. From thank you surprise . Same as my case. portal already shown 100mbps plan after downgrade from 179 50mbps. The next day, website shown 500mbps turbo plan. LOL. That's why I'm so angry, they can freaking turbo-ed you right away but they just holding it out with reason that this is phase by phase process and choose who they want to turbo upgrade. |

Anyone here changes the account name before ? Currently my unifi is under my dad's name , because it was registered when I am 17. Want to change to my name now. Is that possible and what is the procedure ? And might downgrading to the 100 mbps package.

QUOTE(lol0919 @ Sep 19 2018, 02:28 AM) same here, i tried many times already they can create a ticket or complaint report for you and tell you that it will be assign to technical team to check or verify, but after 1 or 2 weeks, still getting the same answer "currently pilot phase blah blah blah...." , and can't even tell us estimated date for the upgrade, keep saying they have no system to check, subject to network infrastructure....etc. we are like waiting for something uncertain. They made the 10X upgrade announcement. Even said it will be August onwards in phases over months. That means there was a plan in place. This is not called a pilot phase. Pilot phase is for studying or testing on a small group of users to see if something can be done, whether it is feasible or not. If yes, then you announce it and roll-out. If not, you don't continue. You do not announce a roll-out plan and then say its a pilot phase. I don't think the phrase pilot phase was used initially. It was only used after some roll-out and thn customer service started saying it to users who called to ask about their upgrade status. So its either an excuse for delay in roll-out or they are having some problems with the roll-out process. QUOTE(kyun @ Sep 19 2018, 03:36 AM) new users could sign up 100mbps at RM129, Most of us are probably not loyal customers. We only use the term loyal because we have been subscribers for many years. But why so? Mostly because we had no other choice. They know that too. They do not see users as loyal customers. There is a difference between long-time user and loyal user. We are mostly long-term users but not necessarily loyal users.i'm now paying RM198.60 for 50mbps Is this how they treated loyal customers? Fxxk them Unifiļ¼ If you had a competitor charging less for the same package, you would probably have switched over. Because it is more important to save some money than to be loyal. If you keep staying with TM and paying more even though you could save money and everything else is exactly the same, then maybe yu are loyal customer. Look at what happened when MNP was introduced for mobile users. Users switched around to get the best deal for their money. Not many would say, never mind, I will pay more and stay because I want to be loyal to this company. When Maxis recently introduced their lower priced packages, some Unifi users looked at switching over. So nothing to do with loyalty. Why did TM also bring out the 2 new packages to match Maxis? Because they knew their users may switch over otherwise. If they thought users were loyal, and if users were really loyal, they don't need new lower priced packages as users should continue to be loyal and pay the high prices. It does not work that way. QUOTE(birain @ Sep 19 2018, 06:33 AM) if in pilot and testing phase, how can they straight launch and give new customer that package. still waiting here for my unifi lite turbo. really no logic at all. been paying RM129 for 10Mbps and new customer paying RM129 for 100Mbps. They will say that you have a choice to go switch to the new RM129 100M so you don't need to wait for the turbo. They get you for another 2 year contract this way. If not, you wait. Yes, they could very easily switch existing 10M users to 100M to match the new package, but there is no benefit for them to do so quickly and for free without contract extension. Again, nothing to do with loayl customer or fair treatment.QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Sep 19 2018, 08:06 AM) Because they have stated 60GB quota for the RM79 30M package, many may be hesitant to get it. Now they have said that the quota is not implemented until end of the year. Unless you need UnifiTV and STD20, this is so much better in price than the old 30M for RM139 / 179 / 199. But they don't tell you what the add-on quota will be. So many cannot decide if it is suitable or not. This is not fair to users. For all you know, they may not really implement the quota next year, just like the original Unifi VIP plans which stated quotas but never implemented. After all, Maxis RM89 does not have quota.Same with the supposedly new 50M. If it is real, why has it not been announced? So that users will switch to the new RM129 100M instead. There must be many users who may prefer a lower priced 50M. Espcially the current 30M 50M users. Later you may not be able to switch to 50M from 100M without paying a penaly for downgrade. And what happens to users who can only currently get max of 30M / 50M due to infrastructure? They are not getting turbo. They cannot keep paying higher prices than the new RM129 100M. So their prices needs to be reduced. Or they need to switch to new packages. So there should be a new 50M package to cater for this. And how can you ask an existing 30M with unlimted data to switch to RM79 30M with quota? In that way, the quota does not make sense, unless they don't implement it later on. I am hoping that by end of this month, things will be clearer for users so that we can make the best decision on what package is suitable for us. |

Thank you for contacting Unifi.
Referring to the report number 1-24230245544 pertaining to the turbo upgrade. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused. However, we are now piloting the turbo upgrades to selected existing unifi customers to the new high speeds of 100 Mbps, 300 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 800 Mbps. This is to allow us time to enhance the process before the mass roll-out. We will keep you updated once this pilot phase is completed and when we are ready to roll out to our existing customers nationwide. The upgrade is subject to network and technology infrastructure at your area. For further enquiries or feedback, chat with us at unifi.com.my for fast and reliable online assistance. Alternatively, you may tweet us at @helpmeunifi, leave your comments at fb.com/weareunifi or enjoy self-service assistance through TM Self Help website at unifi.com.my/selfhelp. We look forward to serve you better. Regards, Nur Saadah Binti Abdul Habib E-mail Team Unifi |
