Celcom Axiata was a major part of TM. Shareholders were given same % share of TM and Celcom Axiata, so the shareholders of TM and Celcom Axiata are almost the same. Khazanah Nasional is the major shareholder of TM and Celcom Axiata.

What Najib proposed for "Double speed, half price within 2 years from 2017" and MCMC/Gobind's MSAP proposal are the same thing. Freedom to choose "double price but lower price" or "10X speed but same price" is not addressed but it is possible.

Another issue is the "ëffective date" to implement MSAP 2018, which Gobind wanted to backdate to 1-1-2018 and give rebate (calculated from 1-1-18), which TM should be rejecting as their improvement plan is till June 2019. Does it mean that those being upgrade at a later date may get a higher rebate?

Turbo/Best customers now got RM30 perpetual discount to contra HyppTV RM30. So you may consider HyppTV basic is free now.

You remove HyppTV (if possible in the future), TM will remove RM30 discount.
TM never sell Unifi Lite / 100Mbps at RM99 except edu-pack. Always at RM129.

if you are paying RM129 + RM20 (for STD20, 600 min voice calls)
100Mbps Best @ RM129 inclusive STD20, you save RM20 but with 24-month contract extension.

if you get 100Mbps Turbo, you will be paying RM149 unless you request at TMPoint to waive STD20 charge (not guaranteed yet).

No quota till Dec 2018.
According to TM, you can buy add-on from January 2019.

But we are hoping the 60GB quota cannot be implemented after December, or a new package 30-50 unlimited for less than RM100 very soon. Then we will downgrade from 100Mbps Turbo to 30/50M unlimited.

Turbo 2x get discount, i.e. ask them to go for 100Mbps Best @ Rm129.
Turbo 10X then No further discount (maybe there is, as new 500Mbps is not priced yet)

Logically there should be a unlimited 30/50M plan. But TM purposely defer it (maybe till end of this year) to stop Unifi Lite users to "upgrade" to a cheaper plan.

The notification may come late. I got the SMS and email 1 week+ after turbo-ed.

Need your thumbprint for 24 months extension.

If you cancel hypptv RM30, TM cancel the RM30 discount. TM not stupid.

No increase in total price. Don't worry.
