so your house is Fiber connect?

Should be, last time clarified by a forumer here, but the staff told me my area only can support up to 200Mbps, so no point to wait for the turbo upgrade anymore.

I'd be happy for sure if they TURBO-ed it and remained RM129/mo, too bad it wasn't the case..

Bro , I faced a similar issue. However, tmnet said I will be paying rm129 and the 500mbps is free upgrade for me

HSBB = full fibre
HSBB VDSL = Fibre to the building --> served to users via building existing copper line
SUBB VDSL = Fibre to the cabinet/curb --> served to users via existing copper landline.

It can achieve much higher speeds than that. Refer to your Unifi account to see if you have been upgraded.

Lol, I wouldn’t use it though, but flashing it with DD-WRT is a great idea though. Too bad DD-WRT does not support VLAN tagging though, and you need to manually configure it, for it to support that.

It is not bad actually, and although the TP-Link C1200 is better in terms of hardware, the Dlink 842 has a more stable firmware.

You mean the 5GHz on your router have limited coverage? Yes, that is the drawback of 5GHz. You can either put an wired AP downstairs, or buy a router that has superb 5GHz coverage, such as the TP-Link AC3150 v2.

Yes, of course, but not all devices has 4x4 MIMO such as a your Note 8, and you have your router 2 as your wired AP, so of course, you are getting that speed. You should remove the wireless extender from your network, as it cuts your throughout to half.

Luckily the Tplink RE450 can be configured as an wireless AP too. managed to pull the cat5e cable from router dir-842 to this RE450 on my bedroom.
