For those using dual band routers, do you guys disable the 2.4 Ghz wifi? (assuming that all the devices at your place can use 5Ghz)
Just wondering if there are any benefits in doing so, other than somewhat helping (less interference) your neighbors who are still using 2.4 Ghz.

disable just to reduce the processing power or work load on the router. mine i disable 2.4 band since no use.

Hi, am having 500mbps broadband and currently using a pair of M4 with  slave node located at different floor which only getting 100mbps on wifi.
If I change the main unit to M9 plus, would it improve the coverage on the slave?

not really, maybe you get additional 20 to 40mbps only (become 120 - 140mbps at most). more impress if you lay cat 6 cable between that 2 mesh.
