Hi blacktubi, is there any router that supports both Unifi Lite (VDSL) and Unifi Fiber?
Helping a friend to upgrade his router, he's using Lite at the moment but expecting Fiber to arrive in a year or so. Looking at VR400V3 and VR600V, both should be able to support right? TQ This post has been edited by QuantumEdge: Aug 22 2021, 10:14 PM |

Guys, my unifi router is already 4 years old i think. Planning to buy a new router.
Recommend me a good latest tech router. I'm using 500mbps package. Price range around 500-600 |

I'm looking at upgrading my router for my Unifi 500Mbps connection. My desktop is connected via LAN but there are a lot of devices so an upgrade may be useful. I am thinking of a router in the RM450-550 range. I came across the RT-AC86U even if its a bit over the budget. What's the review for this router?

There's only so much 10Mbps can do. |

QUOTE(QuantumEdge @ Aug 23 2021, 08:46 PM) He's using 8961ND, TM didn't provide him a new router TM should've provide a new VDSL router when migrate to Unifi Lite as the 8961N is ADSL only which is slow. And the router starts to smell like burning plastic… If you wish to buy your own, the VR600V is the best choice you can get in Malaysia now. But, I cannot verify whether it can support Unifi Fibre. |
