Redmi ax5 don't support vlan without some modding.
The chipset ipq6000 used in enterprise class WiFi 6 AP by Engenius

Hi blacktubi, is there any router that supports both Unifi Lite (VDSL) and Unifi Fiber?
Helping a friend to upgrade his router, he's using Lite at the moment but expecting Fiber to arrive in a year or so.
Looking at VR400V3 and VR600V, both should be able to support right? TQ

Guys, my unifi router is already 4 years old i think. Planning to buy a new router.
Recommend me a good latest tech router. I'm using 500mbps package.
Price range around 500-600

I'm looking at upgrading my router for my Unifi 500Mbps connection. My desktop is connected via LAN but there are a lot of devices so an upgrade may be useful. I am thinking of a router in the RM450-550 range. I came across the RT-AC86U even if its a bit over the budget. What's the review for this router?

In that case I will recommend just get a good WiFi 6 router to match with the existing VDSL router until Unifi is here.

Actually the VDSL modem/router combo from TM isn't that bad and it's more than enough for 10Mbps. There's only so much 10Mbps can do. smile.gif

He's using 8961ND, TM didn't provide him a new router
And the router starts to smell like burning plastic…

TM should've provide a new VDSL router when migrate to Unifi Lite as the 8961N is ADSL only which is slow.

If you wish to buy your own, the VR600V is the best choice you can get in Malaysia now. But, I cannot verify whether it can support Unifi Fibre.
