Hi all, i keep seeing my 1 year old son have big boogers in one side of his nose.

i was wondering issit normal to have big boogers, and why only one side?

is this a sign of something else?

Think it's normal. As long as your child is not choking or having difficulties in breathing, it's nothing to worry about. Probably just the air more dirty than usual.

could it be that he is only breathing using one side? thats why dirty/filtered at one side only?

We learned a nice trick from nurse in hospital. Spray a very small amount ( one ml or less will do) of saline solution 0,5% or 1% salt in the nostril with boogar. Both helps disolve boogar and thick mucus and make the baby caugh it out.
