The sport band material doesn't absorb water and I don't think it's breathable. So I use it for sports as the sweat easily washes off and it dries quickly. Fabric would take longer to dry.

The sport loop is fabric so it's more comfortable for me to wear, and breathable. Feels soft, and easy to adjust the fit due to the design. It is my main choice of strap for the watch.
