Hi, just want to ask if there's anyone got problem when withdraw money from EPF to buy house. (Delay, application reject etc). I hope it goes smoothly as I am relying on this money to buy a house.

Anyway, the process is quite fast, within a week or 2then can get $$$, provided u gv them the correct copy of docs.. |

QUOTE(AgentVIDIC @ Sep 13 2018, 08:21 AM) the general rule is which ever give higher % return, is the better. If you are a bumi, another good option is to take out the money (under so called month installment) and put it in ASB. ASB give about 2% extra than EPF. |

QUOTE(AgentVIDIC @ Sep 13 2018, 12:55 PM) But if account 2 interest is 6.5% and housing loan interest is 4.8%, does it make sense to take out account 2? yes, that large amount of money from account 2 can save your cash flow.Example if you monthly installment is RM1000, after take out all $ from Account 2 to repay outstanding loan, it might become RM500. it save you RM500 cash flow per month + 4.8% interest. with that additional RM500, your spending power is stronger. not to mentioned let say after 2 years you sold the house, the money no need return to EPF, but can put it in your pocket. |
