QUOTE(jacky5283 @ Jul 8 2007, 10:08 PM) Err!!! Did you guys spot that there is a cold moment during the press conference when Kimi Raikkonen said "something happened" and Fernando Alonso was asked about the speed and performance of Mclaren and Ferarri! I did not get that. What was it? Alonso: `Ferrari were too quick` Link ~ http://www.planet-f1.com *cough* *cough* This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Jul 8 2007, 10:10 PM |

QUOTE(EroS @ Jul 9 2007, 10:05 AM) da 1st 12 laps battle between Kimi & Lewis was great.. Surely Kimi will overtake Lewis in a few laps.y da 2nd & 3rd place trophy so small 1?? lolz.. But, the battle will make Alonso closer to both of them. Me also thinks like that. Maybe they thought Lewis gonna win, then it would humiliate the 2nd & 3rd. What a turn around Nurburgring is ours again. We surely disappear in those long slip stream. Clearly roar speed when we saw Kimi trailing Lewis last night. QUOTE(htkaki @ Jul 9 2007, 02:42 PM) Alonso was virtually flying after he pitted for the first time. Lewis was falling behind. Just as Alonso pitted for the 2nd time, Kimi went on to close the gap with fastest lap. This guy is amazing. Excuses.By the way, heard that Ron actually 'preserved' Lewis' engine, which translates to the lack of pace. True? No use anyway, Nurburgring is ours hands down. |

Haven't seen any rain F1 race this season.
I think we're gonna have one in Hungary. Remember last season where both Alonso and Michael DNF? Can't wait to see which car and driver has the edge. I think Ferrari would do well. Maybe no connection but in MotoGp, those Bridgestone works nicely with the Ducati's (Italian team). Hope it also benefitted the Ferrari's. QUOTE(advanced @ Jul 10 2007, 01:55 AM) Yup Ferrari are improving each time Both in Magny and Silverstone, Lewis fall +30 seconds behind. Alonslow cannot even respond to Kimi's pace at Silverstone. I think McLaren were far behind now. Plus, no more help from the 'traitors' British race analysis - Ferrari resurgence gathers pace Link ~ http://www.formula1.com QUOTE While both the Spaniard and Hamilton had started on the harder Bridgestone tyre, worried that the softer medium might not withstand a higher fuel load, Raikkonen was quite happy with mediums from the start, as was Ferrari team mate Felipe Massa. The Brazilian had to start from the pit lane when a stalled engine caused the first start to be aborted, but after Hamilton had set the initial pace, until his tyres began to lose their edge, the two Ferrari drivers were quite happy on their mediums and set about dominating the times. McLaren's plan was for Alonso to sprint away and open a lead over Raikkonen of eight to 10 seconds before he stopped again on Lap 37, but it never worked out that way because of a combination of traffic and the superiority of the Ferrari, which with a comparable fuel load was probably up to half a second a lap quicker than the McLaren. When Raikkonen ran six more laps than Alonso in his second stint, it was all over bar the champagne spraying. This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Jul 10 2007, 02:06 AM |

QUOTE(Hornet @ Jul 10 2007, 08:13 PM) Either you've watching the wrong season or you're being ignorant. Spot on Massa isn't perfect either. Look at Canada, he refuse to take the blame for his mistake. In France, he blame back markers. Alonso instead admit that his car was two slow and refuse to blame backmarkers when asked to comment on them. He also said it's the same for Kimi so the back markers makes no different. And that's why he's a 2 times world champion. Kimi is doing his job just fine. If he isn't helping the team developing the car by actually driving it during testing, he wouldn't have been able to learn how to use it the way Michael always do with attacking the lap times when it matters most. Just because Massa is slower and made a mistake in the past couple of race, it doesn't meant Ferrari is developing the car around Kimi. Why not face the fact that Massa made mistake? Kimi is different from Michael. He and Massa came into a team which is already at the top. Michael came to a midfield team, build the team back up to its winning ways and go further by winning them 5 championship, keeping Ferrari up there for as long as he could. So why complain when Ferrari builds their team around their one and only hope season after season? Eddie had the chance and he blew it. Rubens is nowhere near championship material. If Rubens could bring Honda back up to the top and win the championship, I'm 101% sure Honda will be build around him. Will anyone complain against Honda then? I though so too Unless you're working in Ferrari factory, you can't simply accuse them to be building the car around Kimi, just because Kimi is winning now. If you don't like kimi, too bad then but it still doesn't change the fact that Kimi is a good driver. No matter what, the past is the past...Kimi' fast and furious now. They paid him 40 million (the highest ever) and so far it's worth it. QUOTE(TOYO @ Jul 10 2007, 08:49 PM) hahaha... when somebody comment abit about kimi, all ferrari will rise defend him...what mcchin mean is,kimi not doing development job as much as massa did, that's all...why not face the fact that kimi is lazy @$$ drunken master You'll do the same if people comment about Hamilton's good old team mate This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Jul 10 2007, 10:58 PM |
