This is so true. Let me share my thought in this new XS/XS Max heat. I was attracted and curious about its new 7nm A12 bionic chip, 4 core GPU and the upgraded camera. With the new dual sim on the Max, I was also wondering whether this new Max will impress me and make me switch it to my primary phone. So I placed my order on 21st and waited until yesterday to receive the phone. During the wait, I watched a lot of youtube reviews and comparisons and I have mixed feeling. Day by day I feel less exited. Maybe this caused by the fact that I had the ipX for 2 to 3 weeks earlier this year. I received the Max yesterday and did the unboxing, setup and played with it for a few hours. No doubt that the Max is premium on the look and the feel on hand too. Besides that, it is really just another iphone to me TBH. The screen is brilliant but not wow to me cos I already spoilt by s8+, note 8 and then now note 9. The camera is great but not the level that makes me wow. About the new 4 core GPU, I tested some games like PUBG, mobile legends, and 王者荣耀, from what I see from the eyes the graphic is indeed looks better on the Max. After that I reset the phone and sold it to my colleague who is looking for a dual sim phone to replace his ip4s and ip6+.

No offense to all the apple fans here, the above feedback is purely base on my personal preference. IMO, the only REAL upgrade is if u are upgrading from ip6s/plus or lower. For ip7 and above, it is pretty much not worth the extra money. Of course this is from the view of economical aspect, if u have the money, every upgrade is an upgrade no matter how minimum it is, and u can give yourself any SOLID reason to upgrade as well.

To those who said android is lag or hang, I personally never have that experience. Maybe android did lag in the past, but that was many years ago, and I really can't recall which android I used in the past that was lag. From what I see is these people are those who prefer to slot in the sim, do minimum setup, personalize and go, people who prefer things that are straight forward, yes iphone is the right choice.

I am a phone enthusiast and I love to play with both ios and android. I personally prefer android over the iphone doesn't make me a hater of iphone. People around me always get my opinion before they getting a new phone. I always stay neutral and look at what they using in present and what they looking for in the new phone.  Most of them are just a regular smartphone users who simply wanna slot in the sim card, do minimum setup and ready to go. 9/10 are iphone users around me and most of the time I will ask them stick to iphone.

Again, this is my personal preference and I will still recommend the XS/Max to anyone who fit it the requirements they looking for.
