Well, like mentioned. Apple keeps pushing new technology into the market but whether it is viable or not, it would be another question. For now, majority of the markets are not ready for the ESim yet. For those who are not in the know how, Apple has long come out with Apple Sim, whereby using a single SIM card, iPad buyers can pick and choose data service —with no contracts —from any participating wireless carrier around the world. I have pretty much guessed it that they are moving to the ESim to continue to sell Apple Sim.
When Apple introduces something, the company practically shoves it down your throat making you accept it, and there would be ISheeps around defending them. But when it came to China, I heard the Chinese rejected the Esim and demanded a dual physical sim and hey... look who had their way.

This is the reply I have got from T&L regarding delivery. From the reply, I would say very likely that the phones are still in transit from HK and not ready stocks. Maybe the first batch that was delivered was ready stocks.

No idea. Still in transit they said. Thats why I said only the first few units were ready stocks. The rest are still be shipped from HK and not ready stocks.

Mine is Shipping On Delivery... or whatever that means.

Simple reasons. Sg exchange rate is not so favourable to us. Morever HK set is tax and gst free, so it is cheaper and most importantly, it is a physical dual sim set which would sell better as local sets are esim. No direct competition from Sg or My sets.

Yeah me too. Just incase my bro attw changes his mind on getting the IP XS Max today.

Up till now, T&L has sold 55 units of the Iphone Xs Max Gold 256Gb and that is quite a lot. I would say 30% of the buyers are from LYN here.

Dual Sim = Dual Standby. Definately higher batter usage. I would estimate it to be around 10% more as per android phones.

I always get the signature colour for each new iteration of the iphone. There is always a reason for Apple to put that particular colour as it is.

Just a bit frustrated I couldnt get it for the weekend. Weekends are the best time for me to prep the phone for use next week. Have to send to the shop to install the TG and buy the backcover.

T&L has sold about 70 units, I last checked this afternoon. I would say about 85% not fullfilled including mine ordered on Wednesday itself. You better pray hard.

Yes. But for now only nano sim is applicable. Maxis and Digi has the Esim but it doesn't support the Iphone yet.

I already know where to get it. As I have butter fingers, I need them to install the TG for me. So will send the phone straight to the shop once I get it.
