You must have not used android phones for quite some time. whistling.gif  Give yourself a chance and try one latest android phone and see how it performs. My previous oneplus 3 still is fast and slick even though it is almost 3 years old already.
The battery drain was due to a worn out battery. Had mine replaced during RMA recently and battery drain issue was gone. Battery usage was high too due to AOD. If you turn it off, you can save quite a bit on battery usage.
Pull the trigger together? Coupon... Checked.

Oh. What did you have to do to get the batt replaced?

Still got 5 hours to decide...

I'm assuming you pulled the trigger? No concerns about T&L?

Seriously though, I've never bought an AP phone before. Ever. And especially when one costs 5k, it does raises some doubts, hahaha...

5700 is even cheaper than duty free at Changi 5900. Doubt you'll get a better deal than this buddy. 😉

I searched around... many videos showing the crappy network performance and most of them is angmoh... doubt those units from HK.

But I think most of the people here is either SG or HK sets, but only HK sets reporting issues?

I agree. A lot of people facing same problem. Maybe try this? Found this somewhere.

If you’ve been experiencing slower than normal data speeds on Wi-Fi and/or cellular, you might simply have to reset your iPhone’s network settings. This is done by opening the Settings app and going to General > Reset, then selecting “Reset Network Settings.” You’ll lose all of your saved Wi-Fi network passwords in the process, but re-entering a few passwords is a small price to pay if it’ll fix any connectivity issues you’ve been having on your iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max.

I hadn’t been experiencing any noticeable speed issues on my iPhone XS, but I reset the network settings anyway and found an immediate and obvious increase in subsequent speed tests. Many people who have been experiencing slow upload and download speeds say the impact has been much more dramatic. For example, the Reddit user who started this thread found that his LTE download speed jumped from 1.66Mbps to 64.2Mbps after resetting his iPhone’s network settings. Many other Reddit users chimed in with similar experiences, though some people said that resetting their phone’s network settings had no noticeable impact on data speeds. Either way, resetting your iPhone’s network settings is clearly a good place to start if you’ve been having problems with data speeds.

Seems like your unit will be picked up from their office here in PJ rather than shipped from HK.  rclxms.gif
*
Yeah I was surprised, definitely shipping from their office here as they would have kept some stocks here.

Due to GST 7% to compare HK don't have GST.
If you compare to China its more expensive than SG and HK.

With voucher, Qoo10 is still RM200 cheaper compared to Sg duty free 256gb
