Recently I have driven my parents 2014 Crv 2.4l 4wd for almost one month and realized it occasionally feels vibrates/shaky when I slowly accelerate and it happens between 40 to 60km and 1500 to 2000rpm. When you accelerate hard, it doesn't have any vibration. Already changed all engine oil, transmission oil, rear differential oil and spark plug but still remain the same. I have sent to workshop and they couldn't figure the problem. I sent Honda SC and they just checked thru the device and no problem shown (they didn't jack up the car to check details).
Any owners have faced the similar problem? And hope to get some feedback. Thanks.

Could it be? It happens quite constant when slow accelerate as mentioned speed. After 60km/h, there is no more vibration.

Yes mate better check engine mounting. I used to have it for my Vios. Mine even worse was when stopped, the car shakes and then when I shift to N, it quiets a bit. Changed mountings, problem solved.

ask the honda SC to check and adjust the engine mounting, i had the same problem as yours. Make sure to bring the technician along for a short drive to show them the problem

My mechanic suspect is the LSD problem. This weekend i will ask him to take a look on engine mounting. It is kinda annoying when it only occurs on certain speed. Are yours also occurred same as my mentioned speed? It only happens when i accelerate slowly. When it vibrates and i release my foot off, it stops vibrating. I'm kinda worry if it is gearbox problem.

It is only 4 years old but looks like mounting issue. Too soon for LSD and also mounting. However, I'm more on mounting issue. May not be properly seated in the beginning ... whatever. Too soon for the mounting to wear out but it can happen if not mounted properly.

Mounting issue will cause shaky/vibration at certain speed? Like mine occurs during 40 to 50km / 1500 to 2000rpm when accelerate slowly. After 50km, it has no more vibration.

normal whell balancer does not detect radial variation, maybe a more costy wheel balance service can help bring light to your issue

Maybe I imagined shaky/vibration in different way. The vibration happened when you accelerate at that speed or cruise at that speed. If mounting, I believe it will happened when you accelerating. If you are cruising at that speed and the vibration is continuously happened, then it may be something else.

ya mine was around that speed as well, its especially worse when it is at 2nd gear and trying to accelerate. Once it passed 1500-2000rpm, its smooth again
you can try putting the gear into "L" and going at the same speed

Exactly this happened to me. Turns out it was worn out suspension bushings and drive shaft. After a replacement its totally fine.

My mechanic said both sides drive shaft is ok. Just found out the middle long shaft is worn out, the movement is very stiff no longer smooth. Will source and change the long shaft then continue to observe. I only hope that is not gearbox problem.

I think he refers to propeller shaft which he said middle shaft which connects front and rear. He said the rotation is no longer smooth.

It vibrates when it's not balanced. Or the position is not aligned

Here is the photo. It should be propeller shaft.
My mechanic suspects this is the problem.
He sourced a used shaft rm2.5k and condition also not that good so he rejected it.
Not sure what is the market price for this shaft.

Yup. Normally if it is not balanced it will vibrate. But AWD normally are front biased. Rarely rosak unless kena hantam
