I m driving nissan slphy 2014 mileage 39k gearbox on D reluctant to move few times when idle in traffic light

Old or new?

less than 100k mileage but just right after 3 years warranty.
gearbox has some sound when driving.
nissan said need to replace whole gearbox ... $18k
damn bad luck ...

yours is old slphy or new slphy 18k top up few thousand can buy new car looks like nissan cvt really canot pakai how much mileage your car when your cvt start to have problem

not slyphy ... 2015 xtrail ... i noticed the sound around 90k.

not yet mine warranty alrdy over thinking to find outside specialist gearbox to repair .Your Xtrail quite new so u pay 18k for the repair or find outside to fix it

Zero problem for my Teana 2.5.
Mileage 75K.

Cheap maintenance, bought a maintenance package and additional 3-year warranty.

If you want to buy new Teana, this is not the time.
New car will launch soon.

tats good teana 2.5l tats very powerful v6 engine

V6 is previous model J32.

Mine is current model L33.

v4 still is very powerful comfort, best nvh n bose speaker

what problem? i have like more than 5 friends with inspira, i myself owned 1 before selling it at 80k km to my cousin, who is still using it and we are all free of any problems with the cvt

Transmission slipping car refuse to budge when putting on D

Try replace the CVT oil. Get Castrol transmax for CVT.
My inspira already 220k and using the same Sylphy CVT, jatco brand.
I changed the oil every 40-50k km.

replace CVT oil and add lubegard CVT oil as well..

New Teana coming up? Anything special with this upcoming car?

Have new xgear lots of noise when try to overtake. Rpm hits 4k suddenly then goes down to 2k+. None of my other car got this prob.old car iswara auto 16 yrs old. Engine & gear still nice. Had 2 viva. Drive friend almeera no such prob. Anyone have any ideas. Going to complain next service at 5k.

ALL CVT gearbox is like tat even u take city or vios using cvt hard rev will have lot of noise

Castrol transmax good for jatco CVT?

First time change to Castrol need to flush transmission right?

yours is new or old sylphy looks like i got a lemon unit

No need but if you insist, change again after 10k km and the subsequent every 40-50k km.

xtrail t32 now suffer premature cvt failure.. go to their FB to read more..

TCM just close their eyes.. hahahha

i tried complain but wasn't entertained coz over-warranty.
most likely going to change outside.

i'm kinda pissed off that the gearbox giving problems

yes, i think TCM is not entertaining this.
I heard that the extended warranty dont cover gearbox (to those who bought). only cover the gearbox electronic unit or something

new car come with 7 years warranty cover this.. but with a catch.. u need to seevice ur car at TC..

for those with 3vyears warranty.. can extend the warranty with a extended warranty program.. around 2k.. also witj same catch..

Why Nissan don't sell Syphly anymore...is it because the r has makor issues. Now they don't have a C segment vehicle in their brand

try additive to reduce foaming - X-1R Premium CVT Treatment << check and see if it is original - call the Msian distro

Bcos sales no good people either choose cheapest or most expensive Almera or teana can see slphy car is lesser on the road
