Anyone received SMS out of a sudden regarding SHOPEE Update Password Verification Code?

I got it as well just now, to be safe just change your password.

I also got the weird SMS today at like 6am while I still sleeping.. thought my account getting hacked or something so I immediately changed my password. My email doesn't seem to have been leaked online, so not sure what happening also. Might ask Shopee Support about it and see what they say since not just single issue..

I got the Update Password SMS too, not comfortable with this.

It's either my email or phone number got hacked.

What is your similarities getting this OTP for password change ?
As for me , I did not get any email request for password change but on OTP it requested.It unlikely a scam since Telco number is 62033 , we may call telco to confirm whether it really came from registered shope office sms teller address number.

Here is a break down.
-In order to get an OTP , the intruder must gain or have your Phone number , Your Email and Your password which all correct only able to request for password change SMS.
-The intruder not likely hack into your phone since someone of us got it even not using apps as what my friend confirm.
-The possible of security email/password breach because the timing is very sensitive.4am where most of us are still sleeping.Hacking though midnight which no one aware.
-The possible gain is your CC number and account number if you are using Debt card.Your IC maybe possible too.Shope Pay also.

For some who said change password will not work since it's maybe high possibility more like an insider shope staff who login.
If shope database which store user info is being hack or breach , Shope already inform we all at facebok but i didn't find any info announcement at it.

Those who have active your Shope Pay Please make sure you amount is correct.They may gain access your Shope Pay to a withdrawer or buy something and auto confirm the payment.

Shope Computer security technician , security legal and data protection should respond on this issue.

It's modified router required to open case and modified the imei make it detected as phone device. So the telco with hotspot restriction will not limit me using it on router.
it's obvious the official warranty will not work after u unscrew the case.
