I bought a device from oversea but the item is not functioning (charger gets burning hot and fked up both device and itself, no mention of warranty on product page), it's already more than a week after the product is received. i message the seller yesterday for replacement/refund but they still haven't give me a response even though they were online just now. Is there anything I could do now? Should I lodge a complain to shopee or kpdnkk if the seller choose to ignore me?

QUOTE(Room237 @ Oct 26 2018, 11:14 PM) first time buying from oversea? direct imports from china usually without warranty thats why always low prices. Most china sellers do not offer warranty unless stated so in the page. If bought on lzd,at least still can return to lzd. Shopee may be harder to process refund in this case. My advice, avoid buying electrical items from china seller without warranty. Welp, I managed to get a response from them and they asked for some video evidence, hopefully things will go well after this. Also thanks for sharing this info, I will buy from lazada in the future if I ever need to buy these kind of stuff from oversea again.
