got scammed with faked product. Here my story, last 9/9 sales, i bought ext hdd with around rm 120 for 2tb. i thought since it was on 9/9 sales, all items were verified by shoppee and bought it without thinking too much

then after 3 days payment made, asked seller the tracking no but got told item is shipped from China. What the hell i said, the item description said it from kelantan

after 2 weeks received, but cant used after try reformat. contact seller and got mad with me said why do i format ntfs not exfat. He said this hdd only support exfat format only. I said back to him, there is no such things, all hdd can be formatted all type and i asked for refund but he refused.

then, make report with shoppee. while waiting feedback from shoppee, i looked around on shoppee, turn out there are many seller sell this hdd (exfat only). Most customer didnt get refund and a few received partial refund

then, both shoppe and seller still delay in refund my money, so i sent the hdd to seagate service centre. and sure seagate technician said claim invalid after checking





after all these, i finally get back the money. all these almost took a month to settle.

i hope there will no lowyat forummer fall to this hdd scam. i quite lucky since manage to get refund not like the others customers. what i really shocked is, shoppe is allow this seller to sell this hdd and not banned with all proof i sent them with seagate email

this is first time i got fake product while shopping online. I thik i going to stick to my favourite seller on lazada and lelong. Shoppee gave me really bad experience

i thought it is big discount since it on 9/9 sales and shoppe put it on main page. since it on main page, i also thought the item is verified/fulfilled by shoopee

i trusted ookas. one of my favourite seller of everything electronic. after sales always good like handle warranty claims even after two years bought from them

maybe it due to delivery service. i saw some post about post laju warehouse full with goods due to this sales. this might happend to other delivery agent as well

mine before they called me to asked about whether to change color due no stock and even add free gift, maybe they miss ur order due too many order.

during this kind of sales, the unexpected isolated mistakes bound to happen. even my last 9/9 sales took me almost 2 weeks to arrive

so dont click order received once item arrived. if possible do take video unboxing from the very beggining like show box condition till u open and test the item

if item got problem, ask refund from shoppee and upload ur video unboxing as ur proof. this will highly help you received the refund asap

my little bro did this with his purchase for xiaomi mi pad 5. the refund done within a week.

really recommend to do every unboxing video even u purchase from mall/preferred or non preferred since it really help in expedite the refund process
